Gilmour sold his famous "Black Strat" guitar at auction in 2019 for $3,975,000 (yes, that's MILLION). At the time it was the most expensive guitar ever sold. That record has since been surpassed by Kurt Cobain's acoustic guitar.
I saw Pink Floyd 3 times back in the day. Madison Square Garden and Meadowlands . All their shows are done like this. When they did One of these days, there was one giant pig flying out over the people, during the Wall songs, there was a giant brass bed that flew from the back of the stadium to the stage where it blew up(intenionally) just behind the band. I've seen many different concerts but they will always be the best of all of them. Remember, this is from a time when.bands were actually a band, played real instruments, and did so live, not just on an album. Sadly, things have changed too much, and there aren't many left who still perform that way.
Fire Fire Fire brother, absolutely love watching your reactions to this music and enjoying watching you discover the music of my youth. I can understand why you can’t do the entire concert in one go, would be a mammoth task but you doing it piece by piece, yeah bro, you doing the damm thing. Much love to you and your family and best wishes for Xmas and New Year. ❤ Btw, I think that red Strat went for just over 600 grand, his black one he did live in Pompei with sold for around 4 million.
Fun fact the reason for all the visuals is David said the way he played guitar and the group would be boring they don't do stunts on stage like others so the lights show makes up the difference. If I remember correctly it sold for over a million dollars when he auctioned off his collection to help I think to help organizations that help people in need
The song is my godmothers favorite song and introduced it to me when I was young and still jusy discovering them. This performance is the beat version if this song, glad you reacted to it. Speaking of floyd, Final Cut when?
Ive been loving your reaction videos! If you want an emotional live version of echoes, please check out "Echoes final perfomance with Rick Wright." It was the keyboard players final perfomance of that song before dying of brain cancer, and I believe they both knew it. To me the end of that song is gilmours goodbye to him musically. Gilmour said now that Wright is gone he will never play it again. Tear jerker. ❤
Doing the Pulse concert in segments is fine !! I'm enjoying your reactions !! Don't Stop !! I told you that I was sure that you would enjoy the visuals with the music, keep finding out how deep the rabbit hole goes my Friend. God Bless
I noticed you have not reacted Pink Floyd Humagumma. Check it out but understand you have to be tripping on rooms or lsd to get it. But stone can also get you there too.. Feliz navidad from Puerto Rico
David Gilmour sold 126 of his guitars at a 2019 charity auction for a total of approximately 21.5 million dollars. Sadly I suspect that most of them will spend the rest of their lives in glass cases.
"Pulse" 14 days in a row sold out, their last. This was 1994 and look at the total views on you tube. Also got very little radio play as the record companys with radio only play 4 minute songs.
Hey friend you’ve got to dive into The Delicate Sounds of Thunder Pink Floyd video from the 90’s, start @ the 46 min mark w/Dogs of War, it’s freakin awesome!!! I might be biased being a Shep owner, the entire show speaks for itself!!! You’re gonna love it!!!
What about Led Zeppelin..you barely scratched the service..maybe you might just hop right back there right? Not cool at all..nothing against Pink Floyd also masterful.
🎸💯 David Gilmour is a badass performer‼️
🤯 Pink Floyd rules‼️☮️❤️🎶
Their live shows epitomize professionalism. Everything from the staging to lighting to the musicians and singers is beyond amazing!
I concur.
Pink Floyd is great music😊.
❤loved sharing your experience with you
His red stratocaster guitar in this show sold for $615,000
All Gilmore's guitars sold for $21.5 million for charity.😊

His black Strat went for $4 million +
It actually broke the price record for any guitar ever sold on an auction
😎👍🎶 merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄😎👍🎄 Delicate sound of thunder concert 1988-90 is very good too ✨✨
Subbed for more Pink Floyd. I love your reactions to the best band ever.
Each solo takes you on a journey.

This song means a lot to me. I did a lot of drugs and lsd when I was younger. And it’s how I felt coming back to life/aka “reality”.
I LOVE YOU
This whole album is great.
I'm permantly sucscirbed to PF. If this changes, it's the sign of the End Times...

I love your reactions, every song has its own show so please watch I don't want you miss anything 😢
This song is about struggling to come back to reality after using. And who stuck by you and who didn’t

By the way David Gilmour is 78 years old .
Lol trust me he's got alot of guitars

If you want a taste of the other side of Pink Floyd, check out their original bassist Roger Waters. His live performances are also insane!
Wish you had started this show at the beginning.
Gilmour has that guitar and excellent voice, but Roger Waters is the genius tune and lyrics of Pink Floyd. My opinion
If you really wanna understand Pink Floyd drop some acid or shrooms. Or pretend you did
What about Led Zeppelin..you barely scratched the service..maybe you might just hop right back there right? Not cool at all..nothing against Pink Floyd also masterful.
