Good to know! Yeah, every yard is a little different. At this one, you didn't have to scale if you were a regular customer. But since I'm not I had to learn the hard way 😂
Good video. The guy with the utility trailer is going to work just as hard as you. He could scoop it from the trailer into the bed. Easier than from a tarp. I’ve hauled rock like that. I had them put a ton on the back so it was easier to scoop it out, yeah that’s a huge mistake. I damn near crashed because the trailer was fish tailing so bad
Love your content! I’m the back of the house drop David and add rock, don’t hurt your back. I just built a mini chicken brooder in 30min. Just found out my chickens chicks hatched. Kids are in love again! 😂😂what did I get myself into!
Yeah they do that at rock yards they weigh you first then you get loaded then you get weighed at the end once you get the material but how did you like the hustle without the unforeseen problems?
@ReelFloridaOutdoors Nice! How's the power on it? Does it bog down? The other guy is running a 60" it's a monster, but his machine is almost much stronger

You need to get your 3rd gen fixed brotha! I know your 5th gen is new and probably has warranty. I would hate to see the 5th gen go down and dealer have to repair it under warranty. You’d be down a truck and dealerships don’t tend to take care of a warranty fix all that fast because it’s on there dime. Plus I just love a good ol 3rd gen and would love to see it on the road again hauling some heavy loads. 🙏🏽
You are absolutely right. I need to get that truck back up and running it breaks my heart seeing it parked broken 💔 😢 Yeah, the new 5th gen has a solid warranty. If it breaks, they gotta give me an equivalent rental until it's fixed. But yeah, I had to pay extra for the 125k mile warranty
@@JackofHaulTrades it breaks my heart too seeing it down. 😩 that’s good! I have some friends that are waiting like 2 weeks on warranty work on their 5th gen. But they don’t use it for work like you. Good thing they will give you rental tho. That’s a good warranty!

Eh 16k GVWR that was about 7 tons of rock roughly 14k. You may of been a ton over what the trailer legally runs by sticker but a ton over is nothing for these trailers. That’s the good thing about high side walls.
Thats why they should mount the tie downs on the sides and not on the bed of the trailer. They clog up with material and have to be cleaned out every time.
