When they send you pics you make it clear that you are bidding on the items in the pics only and anything else is charged extra. Used to get fed up with scammers trying to con you and I would rather walk from a job before doing it for free and make sure it is cash before you lift a thing that was not in the pic.
I take half down on jobs when I start, then the other half when I'm done. Thank you for the feedback man!
If on curb should not be paying anything
@susanarrington9371 How do you get rid of it for free on the curb?
Man that was a hot mess 😂
It sure was, and that rain made this job hell 😂
Wow! What a transformation 😃
You know it bro!
I came here to say the same thing! Wow! What a great job you did! I hope you took alot of before and after pictures!
Lesson learned. Moving forward, let them know that you are pricing based on the pictures and the items on the pictures. Anything extra inside, outside, any other side of the property will be extra and if anything is thrown out and not bagged, that will be extra as well. Maybe give customer a heads up of $250 for each side of the house/property that needs to be cleaned up. Keep up the good work and keep up the hustle.
Great tips. Thank you for the feedback!
keep up the good work from the far east wishing you good luck buddy 💪
Thank you brother. I appreciate the support!
Gotta be ready for everything in this business, great tip for the price change
Appreciate the feedback my guy!
Nice work 💪
Thanks man!
as another junk removal person .. good job man you did it good 👍🏻 cheers from Vegas
Thank you brother. I appreciate the support!
Those are the houses we wanna grab when we wanna fix and flip but not live in lol
Good business advice too!
🔑
Thank you for the support brother!
@@JackofHaulTrades Yezzir! Keep up the great work bro!
@@MowinWitMuhammad will do! Same to you🤜🤛
Making that money!!! “ in da hood” 😂😂 get that cummins in more vids! It looks nice with a trailer hooked up to it. 😎
Will do brother. I was planning on running it tomorrow, but I won't my jack on the trailer broke this morning 🤦♂️I'm going to run the Ford just in case I need to disconnect on the job. But I love that cummins! I miss hauling it daily
I have done junk removal jobs that have taken a month to do😂
Sheesh that's crazy man. I hope you made good money on those jobs
in Citrus County Florida , furniture is FREE to dump at the landfill .
that alone saves a LOT of money .
That must be nice 💪💪
@@JackofHaulTrades it does help !
Wow man, what a nasty large job. Good thing you bid it in person. I have been slow too but have two small things on the books tomorrow.
Nice man. It has picked back up thankfully! Having work is always a blessing
Damn, that's alot of sht..I sure thought 2 loads at least😳Nice set up bro.. ur right a utility would b a mf unloading! You got busy! 💯🏆✌🏽
Man, I really thought I could break it all down and make it fit. These dudes kept throwing stuff out of the house after I bid it lol 😂😂 but it worked out in the end 💪💪
When you are in the city let me know I'd be down to help assuming I'm not on a job that day
Sounds good brother 💪
Ohh shit we live in the same state. That’s Atlanta for you 😂😂
Haha lot's of haulers here 😂😂💪
Ok so not sure how you go about things but for me I always segregate loads, first is metal/appliance always one pile possible next load or if it’s not worth it just leave in curb, next large items like couches I try to put in truck bed then load straight bulk in trailer then throw whatever is left on top or in next load.
I typically separate the metal also, but I didn't on this one because someone else was supposed to take it. But I took what metal was left the second day. Scrappers came overnight and took almost all the metal 😂😂

I think your mini skid /grapple with another guy pulling the other trailer would of made the job easier. But again it’s hard when you are by yourself. Great job overall!
I AGREE, but sadly the steet was at an angle, and my dump trailer 4ft walls it wouldn't work unfortunately. Not enough room to shake the grapple. I need to get another trailer asap I need 3ft walls max. I wish I could afford one now lol
@@JackofHaulTrades yea that’s too bad you couldn’t make it work. However, if you are trying to load it with your mini skid steer I would suggest getting longer ramp and load the stuff in from the back and not the side. That way you can drive into the trailer. I think Trailer & Hitches in winder can make them for you. It would be cheaper than buying a whole new trailer for that purpose.
@@tractorworkandmore411 is that how you load yours? I'm afraid to flip it doing it that way..
@@JackofHaulTrades I don’t load mine forward. But I wasn’t sure how low to the ground the back of your dump trailer is because your seems lower to the ground than my big Tex dump trailer.
@tractorworkandmore411 It is not low to the ground at all lol. It's very steep with short ramps
You did a good job brother I would recommend you. Could you put how much time you worked on this project? Looks like you had $60 in hiring a guy and $260 in fuel costs?
Thank you. If you count, drive time it took close to 2 days. If you count, just working one day basically. But it took me 3 days because of weather issues, and i started the job after 4pm the first day. With one helper and another truck and trailer, I could have had it done in less than one day 😅
Whats a good sized truck to start with? Without getting a diesel
I you plan on pulling a dump trailer get a 2500. They have stronger suspension and frames than 1500
Did you make any money on selling scrap metal?
Yes, very little tho.
That's 4 load or 5 load!
It was a ton of junk!
1800 for that is wild asf for that amount ... but hey you live in another state shit might be different, don't get over worked
I agree. I under bit it. But if the job would have stayed at 1800, it would have been low-key nice because I would have gotten it done the first day In one load!
Bro I just started my own but where did you dispose your junk?
Nice man, what area are you located in? I dispose of trash at the landfill landfill / transfer station
@@JackofHaulTradeswhere in Atlanta of the landfill/ transfer station do you go to if you don’t mind me asking, and what’s the per ton?
@megaskinsgaming6225 I typically dump in Jefferson GA. It's $70 per ton
@@JackofHaulTrades do they charge extra for mattress or paint?
@megaskinsgaming6225 Hit me up on Instagram. The link is in the description, I can tell you more about it there!
Was it worth it how much did you get paid?
Yessir, it was still worth it! I charged $2200 for the job
@JackofHaulTrades I'm working on starting my own company. Would love to pay you for a 1 on 1 consultation to give me some mentorship. Great videos great page bro salute 🫡
Save any converse shoes for me and jerseys, id be happy to take them. But mostly converse that are regular high, low and midtops and shorelines, not platforms, seventies or slim fit
👍
@@JackofHaulTrades Thanks so much! means a ton! Stay safe! Never know what you're going to come across unexpectedly!
@@illburnmyselfforreal text me on Instagram with your info topala_industries
Thank you
@@JackofHaulTrades Okay!
looks like she tried to trick you
Yep she definitely tried to get the best price possible. She even said the better the price the more work I'll give you. Some people will say anything to save a buck
Where you dump at?
Hey man! I dump in many places, but typically, Jackson County landfil for trash and 211 landfil for green waste
@@JackofHaulTrades ok, thanks! I stay in Loganville, ga and I want to get into junk removal as a side hustle, do you have any pointers?
@nick93471 I've done quite a bit of work in longanville! It's hard to explain over text. I have many videos up. Just watch them, and that will help a little brother!
Stop complaining just get the job done it’s called junk removal it comes with the territory
I'm not complaining. I'm always thankful for work sir
You made out good.$2200 for everything outside. Also you should have brought a helper. That should of been one days work.
Yessir I should have. The job could have been done in half a day with a helper and both my dump trailers. The rain messed it up. But I still came out on top very nicely!
