I first found Elegant Themes years ago when searching for a theme for a client. I was so impressed with the themes that I joined for myself, and I've been using your themes on more than 100 websites since. When Divi came out I was intrigued but felt that I was too busy to learn it at the time. I just started watching the Divi tutorials recently, and I am so impressed that I can't believe it! I pay $20 a month to Adobe basically for the use of Dreamweaver, but Divi beats Dreamweaver hands down, and membership in Elegant Themes costs much, much less. My sites are all going to be WordPress with Divi or Extra from now on. You guys have amazed me!
At 6:00 he says you can actually bounce back and forth between the VB and the Backend editor using the button in the Backend. Is that true? I have problems with changes syncing up between the VB and the BE.
At 5:15 he shows how a page looks in the backend builder but all I see is a message that says "This Layout Is Built With Divi Edit With The Divi Builder" does anyone know why this is happening?
At 7:58 when it snaps to the left, the rest of the blog conforms itself to the remaining space so the editor isn't covering content. How do you manage this? I can't seem to find the option?

Good Afternoon, I am starting with creating site locally on desktop, I am trying to use the page builder, the new page isnt loading that option. Typically I get to that point and then I am presented with options on what I want to import, I am just getting the rotating icon for page loading, also I cant activate page builder plugin, it does state " Activate | Delete The ultimate WordPress page builder. Already included and not needed when using the Divi or Extra theme."
Your DIVI them does not work with the latest versions of PHP. 7.4.12. Support for your products is non existent. On your website, there's no support staff ready to answer questions! What is going on?
The video starts with an already made site. Those of us just getting started need to start at the very beginning. Once the theme is loaded, I don't even see how to get to the visual builder, since I have no page or post created yet.
DiVi 4.4 seems to work differently. However please make sure that you have selected the DiVi as active theme, then it should offer the visual builder every time you start a new page.
I am a complete novice and do not use web builder language! I now understand the "section" and columns but you haven't mentioned the top row above the section with About Contact etc. How do I set that up, it does not light up when I turn on Divi builder?

I have had many problems with performance but in Divi => Support Center there is an option to put site into "Safe Mode", it disables other plugins and things. It helped!

I've looked for begginer tutorials but this one is what one can get .. at least so far.. there needs to be even more fundamental tutorials readly available without an online search.

It aint optimal couse it aint very fast. Its kinda packed up with lots of stuff, stuff u dont need that slows it down. Clean site is good for SEO. Edit; Am testing Divi for a WooCommerce now. Setting it up with a Tailor-made theme so its without extra features. I can update you on speed and SEO compared to WooCommerce without Divi.
Please don't get Divi if you are a beginner. It is so hard to use and the customer care is not 24-7. I bought it and I now need to get a designer. Had it over 5 weeks, the tutorials go around and there are constantly things I need to do on the back end of WP. Just finally managed to get it to update and install on WordPress, and now can't even get to this page where he says for beginners.use Wix or Goddaddy builder if you are beginner and need a simple site.
This video is shown as a basic intro to Divi Builder!!! Seriously, he starts out with a complex web page already built - not how to build it. Seriously!!
Have you really watched the video? He explains that there is a library of templates you can choose from to start with, and he also explains how to start from scratch.
I wish that while he is talking about what he did on this page that he actually would show you instead of saying “i did this” otherwise this is relatively informative. But he took a while to get there.

Jesus, why does this have to be so hard?? Divi is DEFINITELY not for the beginner. If you are new to Wordpress or need to build a website easily that offers simple functionality, you're at eh wrong place. Divi is extremely hard to figure out. I've had the Divi theme for months now and have still not located the Divi Builder they talk about in this video. Forget Divi.
I've never built a website until Divi.... This is not that difficult... I know sometimes things might not go your way but with a little patience... you'll figure it out... I love Divi... it's very easy to use and navigate once you get into it... hope this helps... go to FB and look for Groups on Divi... we can help you... :)
I just got divi themes and the divi builder, the divi builder they are talking about is in the plugins. so after you install both the themes in the themes section of admin, now go to plugins and upload the divi builder plugin to do all this wacky stuff in this video lol. hope this helps, I wish someone would explain it in plain english to me if this was my post 6 months ago. for the price they want for this, they should get on point with you.

There's a plugin called 'classic builder' that puts it back in, but it's not exactly the same.

No need for Divi now as WordPress has Gutenberg.
Divi reminds me of Salient by Themenectar, but just more confusing and less intuitive.

These videos are not helpful. It does not address specific tabs. My Soularo Divi theme I purchased today does not look like that.
