You showed Samsung qalaxy A52 locked (forgot zig zag) & your tweak got me out of my jam 💟💟💟💟💟 but I had to improvise a change I feel I should share: Everything as you said but release volume UP button and keep holding Vol. Down pushed in until lifesaving GALAXY logo appears. I've never been so happy as [insert appropriate example here]. MILLE GRAZIE!
Love it. But my A52 when I followed the reset for. Hard reset, did not work. But what did show up was message stating "air plane mode is on" good grief what exactly does that mean??? Hope I get an answer.
Held volume up and lowest key. Did not revert to reset menu. Just booted up. This is a Lat Am A52 that turned out to be incompatible with Verizon. It does some weird stuff. Need to wipe the phone so I can return it.
Locked out of phone it won’t shutdown without password so phone not going completely off so the android symbol doesn’t appear neither does the help menu at top of screen help!!!!
So basically my problem is this: Followed instructions - for hard reset and soft reset, did not work - repeated the instructions for hard reset or factory reset - this time a message came up ... AIR PLANE MODE IS ON - is this why I cannot do a hard reset, I have done one before with a Huawei This is just not kicking in for my A52
Can't access recovery menu. When I turn the phone on with volume up and power button held down the phone boots up normally and I get this error message: [PDP] Back-up : fail setup-wizard [ FINISH ]
There is a much easier way to reset or unlock your phone if the pin is lost, go to find my mobile on Samsung find my mobile, log in making sure you have your Samsung password then click unlock if it should work.
The thing is my phone stuck at the Samsung start screen, then it turns off, then on again until the Samsung logo start screen, then off again and repeat until the battery zero.

What if you only have two devices, Samsung Galaxy A52 A525F/DS 64GB 128GB duo in combination with, Samsung Galaxy A8 SM-X200. I do not usa a PC or Laptop, just the devices at the moment. Followed the steps and the password, biometrics as shown on the A53. Does AIRPLANE MODE (when on) would this effect the hard or soft reset???? Really would love to resolve this today for myself. The prompts are very accurate, therefofre I must be doing something wrong. It started with the microsoft authencator app. Works like a charm. - charged mobile A52 - turned on, mobi A52 set for password and finger biometrics - password came on, - biometrics were not showing - then signed into twitter (now Xx), like clock work was in. Sgn in on tablet A8, (mentioned above) - but, later received and email, you have unsual signin, if this was you etc... - my twitter signjn showed up in Virginia USA - 😂 i am in North Holland 🇳🇱 Netherlands Logic says try find my phone, but I have my mobile here with me, in N.Holland will it still erase if I locate it very confusing as the A52 mobile Samsung galaxy is here.😊 Big story for about one or two clicks. Anyone???

So if we reset it mean the the phone will delete all program and account like new not just reset password lock screen phone?

for me none of these steps worked without the phone being connected via cable to my LAPTOP, not wall socket.
