Then after a while of this I did the force restart button combo (power button and volume down) and it resurrected itself. I have had my A51 for about two years or so now and I must confess this is a comprehensive guide to restart the phone (haha!) Having said that, I only had to follow the first step. My screen turned black after looking like an analog tv that was going out of signal. As for you, Sir, thanks for posting videos like this. Very useful, got my samsung A32 fixed using massage technique until I heard a click, and then pressing power and volume down button. The screen goes booom SAMSUNG.. Very well explained. If I had taken it for repair, the diagnosis would have been the panel damage and replacement. Thank you

Oh my god I literally cannot thank you enough for this video. My phone has already had a costly screen replacement, and afterwards I did everything the tech guy advised (sturdier cover, screen protector, etc) but today my heart dropped when the screen remained black after I tried tapping and pressing buttons. Not sure which fixed it, but I did the massage method and the hold down power button plus lower volume button method, and now my screen is back on. Thank you once again so much, I was dreading forking out more cash for repairs.

THE MASSAGE TRICK WORKED! Thank you so much! Btw, i did a little of my own research and found out that you dont need to massage the whole phone. The LCD connector is located at the bottom part of the phone (right above the charger port) so massage the bottom of the phone only.

@@owlvenus I tried the first step. samsung logo didn't appear, but i heard the sound that the phone restarted. When i plugged in the charger, it did make that "bzzt" when you plug it in. I jumped to 3rd step, massaging the device and i heard a small click - something probably was unattached from the drop but didn't break. After that, i did try to restart again like in the 1st step on the video, and the logo did appear, the phone restarted normally and the display was fixed TL;DR: try massaging/pressing with a bit of force, something might be displaced

My phone´s been working 100% for the last 2.5 years, never let it drop hard on the floor until last week, no visible damage but today it went black when trying to take a picture. Got home and watched your video, at first the volume+power button combo brought the display back up during restart, but soon I noticed some intermittent glitches on the screen... Then I did the massaging front and back and now it´s 100% again! Liked and subscribed, cheers!!
You rule mate! Massage worked for me as well. Heard a snapping noise on the back just under the camera while massaging then it turned on with the vol down and power button. Very happy wife, now time to backup the phone!

When I've plugged it in it showed the sign that it is starting to charge but it stopped and it was like that for 24h. I've tried different chargers but nothing worked, then I found your video, after watching one of Samsung ones that wasn't really relating to the issue my phone had. THE MASSAGE TRICK WORKED! Thank you so much! Btw, i did a little of my own research and found out that you dont need to massage the whole phone. The LCD connector is located at the bottom part of the phone (right above the charger port) so massage the bottom of the phone only.
You are amazing, at first i didn't get the Samsung logo on, my phone fell from about 50cm height, and i thought the screen shattered internally or something, but the massage method probably worked as i felt a small click sound and poof, it restarted normally. Lifesaver !!

@@owlvenus I tried the first step. samsung logo didn't appear, but i heard the sound that the phone restarted. When i plugged in the charger, it did make that "bzzt" when you plug it in. I jumped to 3rd step, massaging the device and i heard a small click - something probably was unattached from the drop but didn't break. After that, i did try to restart again like in the 1st step on the video, and the logo did appear, the phone restarted normally and the display was fixed
TL;DR: try massaging/pressing with a bit of force, something might be displaced

My daughter have the A52 and the black screen came on. I tried the hard reset and the phone just vibrates. For this video and tried the message and the tap on the screen. As soon as I plug it in, the charging circle showed and the screen was back on. Great video.
