Hi the Ginger One. Just discovered you’re channel and enjoyed this post so subscribed. You all did really really well with that adventure. I get the heat but personally it’s something I love having cycle toured around the med several times in near 40 degree heat…I love our UK hot days!!! That route was exhilarating. Thing about our hills in England is when it’s says up it means up or its down and it means down especially in all of our national Parks. Still it was dry cos if it had rained you’d have all been glagged up to buggery wi muck n sheep shit n cow shit and clarty limestone dust/mud in your chain and cassettes and I’ve done a few sections of that route both cycling and walking and in the wet it’s horrible. But brilliant vid …thank you for posting…Bessie’s..Ron
Thanks for the kind comment. Something about riding in the heat doesn’t agree with me - it happened again in Spain recently. Seems I am made for cooler weather.
I'm fortunate to live on the edge of the Dales and so recognise a lot of where you rode - that was really tough and chapeau to you all for getting round! One tip for further adventures is to pack a water filter (I recommend a Katadyn). They weigh nowt and you'd have given me £100 for mine at points on your ride 😂. Glad I've found your channel 👍.
Anybody who contemplated that route on a gravel bike was mad - resulting in 3 days of moaning! Recommend in future have a more intelligent knowledge of the route and the capabilities of your bikes. If you prefer tarmac over tracks why not take the obvious road routes?
Cracking campsite stay there regular . Brilliant video looks like a great ride
Thoroughly enjoyed this film, thank you for taking us along - even if my hands felt every rock and pebble numbing mile!
👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it!!
great film as always.well done

Thanks for the kind comments on the video. Yeah - it was a tough one. I have since learned to carry more water! A water filter is a good tip. Thanks.
Only ridden once off-road in the Dales and same sentiment; underbiked. Still.. it's the Dales it's worthy of a return visit; just a matter of when.
Well done guys very interesting and well put together video.
Looked a tough one 😂
Thanks for the kind comment. Yes - I found it very tough - but what an amazing place!
Another great film - and I enjoyed the music as well. Looked beautiful. If I ever do it - it will be 4 days (and hotels)
Thanks for the kind comment. If I ever do it again, it will be an eBike - lol.
