I'd keep it. They don't cost very much, 200-ish? Slap some chamber adapter inserts and play around with 20, 28, and 410s. Add some weight to dampen the 12ga recoil?
Hi Mary, one years old and when I was growing up, I had a single shot 16 gauge shotgun. I never thought of it happen to get another type of shotgun right now I hunt my squirrels and rabbits with my single shot 20 gauge shotgun. I’m going to get a 12 gauge I have other shotguns but I always grab my single shot, easy to clean light to carry and it does the job
I noticed that some types of rounds it won’t eject and others it will.. But if you don’t have a single shot then keep it, if you do and are not worried pass it along.
Keep. Ive got the 301 20 gauge and i love it!
I would never get rid of that 12 gauge. I have a NEF 20 Gauge and its like my right arm. I love that design 👍
That thing doesn't need to go in a safe does it? I would hide that somewhere handy... Put a shell carrier on the stock...
Hey I have the Stevens set 301 410/20/12 I love them I also have the turkey 410 in camo I love them.one thing I've found they all shoot low.

Figure which single you shoot best and keep that one.

Keep 😊
Keep it, put a limbsaver on it to lessen that felt recoil, and see if it can be drilled and tapped for an optics mount. That is what,I would do.
Been shooting since I was an early teen. Certainly am not a teen anymore. Never sold a gun I’d bought.
Keep it! Need more room buy another safe!
KEEPER
You don't get rid of guns!!!

I just came to see what a “breakover” is, since the term doesn’t exist. I think you mean break open or break action.
