@@JoshsCustomBuilds this video is rly nice... pls do something related to the hammer section, like what spring works the best, which spring makes it lighter/heaver, which sear makes the cycle faster, what the differnt leaf springs do and how to adjust it..
@@JoshsCustomBuilds I referenced the results of this excellent video of yours in my Evidence-Based Hi-Capa Power Upgrades -series, where part 4 is about BBU&Nozzles: th-cam.com/video/mQ5i0dcQMqY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=beOg0iSLKIxIAM8E
I haven't compared all the hops but I've tried a fair bit of them. The two combinations that gave me the best performance were Nexxspeed hop woth 6.03 nineball power barrel and modify x-range bucking or TTI hop with pink flamingo bucking and PDI 6.01 barrel
Thank you so much for the kind words! I have a video on my Instagram about it, but am waiting for the LA Capa V2 unit to drop to do a full comparison on TH-cam! NexxSpeed with a PDI Barrel and LA Capa Bucking is my favorite setup as of now, though.
I would have liked to see the data on the early cutoff edge bbu. In my opinion, it's the best bbu that's easy to get in america for green gas builds. It's significantly more consistent and doesn't waste extra gas like a normal cutoff bbu does. It's also very nice for 1911 builds and prevents power from tapering off near the end of the mag.
I had some cyclic issues with those in the past - I like the V2 from Edge far better for Hi Capa builds. I haven’t built many TM 1911s, so I’m sure they work better with them. Thank you for your input!!
Great video , just got my lacapa bbu and it def made some great changes to my shot to shot consistency , only issue i had was it destroyed the stock guarder internals but the tm internals have been holding up great! My 4.3 capa shoots about 340-345 fps now with 6.00 nineball barrel , lacapa flat hop bucking , and nexxspeed aluminum hopup. Do you recommend swapping the plastic ring inside the nozzle with a cowcow aluminum piston and ring?
Thanks for the video. Could you put links in the description, please? Or reply with the link for the Edge V2 nozzle. Also, what nozzle spring do you recommend. Im finally upgrading my internals on my dual pistol build. Thanks.
The AIP BBU is honestly trash… never had a good experience with it or their nozzles. They were omitted from this testing, because I recommend avoiding them at all costs
Haven’t tried the LA Capa nozzle yet unfortunately- they were just released. I recommend Medium with the edge and CowCow nozzles, and small for basically everything else
This is the best on upgrades that I have seen for a while! Thank you!
Thank you so much! What would you like to see next?

@@JoshsCustomBuilds I'd like to see a best combo for barrel, bucking and new tdc hop chamber like nexxspeed or tti

This is the best video covering the topic by far. You should do something similar but with something like hopups or buckings.

I really appreciate having this video!!! i wanna see combination of the frame internal comparison!!
Now this is the kind of content I like to see 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Thank you so much! Means a lot!
Wow....i love it 😊
Thx for good video!
Please make a video comparison of hop up buckings and inner barrel for best accuracy.. by the way great video. Very informative
Love it!!!
Super super interesting thank you ❤

@@JoshsCustomBuilds 1911s are fun, they are exactly the same as hicapas just way less gas capacity in the mags.
@@JoshsCustomBuildshave you tried using the edge short stroked loading nozzle with the early cutoff bbu?
amazing video, super helpful
Nice!

Did you try the cowcow aluminum internals for the nozzle I am tempted to buy it for my aip nozzle

Is aip internals any good, I plan on running my hi capa with green gas only
lacc with stock nozzle - whoch o-rings did you use?
What if I’m using a lighter weight metal slide will the ultra light edge bbu still be good ?
How about the aip high speed blowback housing?
The AIP BBU is honestly trash… never had a good experience with it or their nozzles. They were omitted from this testing, because I recommend avoiding them at all costs
My nozzle gets stuck when I replace tm piston head to nexxspeed. Any fix?
You could be using an O ring that is too large
What O rings size would your recommend on a la capa nozzle?
Haven’t tried the LA Capa nozzle yet unfortunately- they were just released. I recommend Medium with the edge and CowCow nozzles, and small for basically everything else
how to fix the problem on edge bb housing with cowcow pink nozzle?
You need to put a larger o ring on your BBU piston
@@JoshsCustomBuilds thx
