Dude i found your channel only a couple of days ago and fell in love. Ravenguard and alpha legion are my favorite loyalist/traitor legions so seeing ravenguard brings a smile to my face. Id love to see what you have for alpha legion at some point but ima watch whatever you post either way its all so good! Keep up the good work!
thank you. I really enjoyed making them and they are a ton of fun on the tabletop. They play so different than my other legions. You really should do a 30k army of them if you play HH as well.
@@heresyera I don't play 30k yet, and don't quite know how the local scene is, so my idea is to make a scouring era force that also has raptors and charcharodons in it. If I can also use it in post siege of terra 30k them thats awesome, if not then probably not the end of the world :)
Wow! This is a fantastic idea. I'd love to make a similar video of my collection, but I absolutely do not have any of the skills required to even approach this production quality. I really love the concept of showcase videos executed this well. Once you run out of your own armies, you should showcase guest collections, just to keep this awesome video series going.

I may drop an extended version where i go more into detail on how the army functions. it essentially functions using Decapitation Strike for extra VP's for slay the warlord, nightfighting w/ infravisors, infiltrate, deep strike and forcing pinning tests via the vigilator (-1 LD w/ Shell shock), Mor Deythan and rocket barrage with the whirlwind scorpius. The infravisors let me ignore night fighting which puts a -1 LD on enemy units - so i essentially pick off characters and augary scanners, force pinning to deny intercept and then deep strike down the speeders, dark furys, and assault marines. Its not an army that can go head to head with stronger legions but its competitive through objectives and timing. very fun to play.
I know this might be a little off-topic but what is the font you are using on your thumbnails? It looks really really close to the Official Horus Heresy one and I have been dying to find a good one for a custom campaign poster for my local tabletop store.
Ive posted some BTS pics on Instagram. I could do a BTS video. Im waiting on a lighting and background kit that will let me expand onto shooting on the gaming tables. Want to feature more of the knights and titans and they get a bit cluttered in the booth

@@heresyera I have to finish my Legions Imperialis stuff first 😅But maybe when GW releases MkIV armor I'll do a "big" Heresy army for Ultramarines or Blood Angels
@@uh1066hastings 100% . The first edition started at the onset of the Heresy where the armor marks were more specific to the legion preferences and traits - ie. Iron Warriors rocking predominantly mk2/3, RG mk6, EC liking everything but mk3 etc etc. but with the game being pushed to mid / late heresy with HH2.0 its more open - as the war reached its peak, legions were desperate and used whatever they could - I try and set my armies somewhere in the middle. I hope we get mk4 before I start the emperors children reboot.

Thank you. Being a child of 2nd edition warhammer 40,000, i actually love the Proteus Land Speeders. I agree they are far from elegant looking but I really like the retro look of them.

Im going to do a little painting guide for alpha legion. just doing a small allied force of them right now for the campaign.

I need to revisit my ultramarines. I painted a huge army when HH2.0 dropped. I need to paint some assault marines and MK3 for them.

@@uh1066hastings hopefully mk4 comes sooner than later. they are teasing us by releasing characters in upscaled mk4 but no standard infantry

While I do love all the Legions (I'm a sucker for power armour) I'm missing your Imperial Fists.
