With the Demon deal, I would have agreed, but with an addendum. In such deals, the demon has to abide by that contract, else the exchange gets nulled, and I regain my soul, and the Kitsune loses her soul. Stuff like 1) The Kitsune has to live a life of honesty, without secrets, and can no longer lie. 2) The Kitsune needs to surrender worldly possessions, and cannot utilize mystical and magical items, including weapons. 3) The Kitsune needs to assist my character in achieving his/her dreams and 4) The Kitsune must be quested to find a way to cure the lycanthropy. Else her body and soul are forfeit to the demon, and my character has his soul returned, with no going back on the deal.
That’s pretty clever. I would have asked, “Are you SURE that you want MY soul? Because here’s the thing. I hate that bitch. The only thing in this entire multiverse that has prevented me from flat out murdering her ass, is my SOUL. And now you’re demanding that I hand over to you the one and only thing that has been keeping this insufferable cunt alive for the past several months in exchange for her resurrection. Well . . . I certainly COULD do that. However I can totally guarantee you that the moment she comes back to life, my soulless ass will turn into a wolf, pounce on her, tear her limb from limb, and then eat her whole, bones and all, and love every minute of it. And then once she’s digested I’ll turn into a wolf again, shit her out, and then eat my own shit, because that’s what wolves do. So go ahead. Take my soul. See how well that works out for the little bitch.”
@@maximselan200actually it’s devils that are lawful by nature. Demons are pure chaos. It’s an easy mistake to make though. Many people use the terms demon and devil interchangeably, when they’re in fact the evil forces of law and chaos.
@@maximselan200 And even the Chaotic ones can't easily break a contract, particularly one with fine print. In fact, they are even more beholden to one. A lot of lore in various mythology and folk tales shows that not even the King of demons cannot break a contract that easily, even if they are screwed over. French Canada have a ton of stories involving the devil being outsmarted with fine print. This one would actually benefit the demon either way. He wins a soul. One of them would be an innocent soul, the other, a corrupted soul. Every DM I've had would take such a deal very seriously, because there is nothing wrong with the person giving his soul for another, with conditions. And such things wouldn't cause a shift in alignment. Some beings of good would do that to ensure that the person they are giving their soul for becomes a better person. Also, for number 3 and 4, I would actually give a timeframe for it. And even without me stating it, the demon would also set up a time limit himself.
"You won't be surprised to find out that I then broke up with them and then they began dating the kitsune." Actually, I am surprised, because a rational person would've left him and the game almost immediately instead of sticking with them for dozens and dozens of sessions and many months; so I would've been less surprised if she'd stayed in that unhealthy relationship. And it sounds very much like he was already cheating with and dating the kitsune for a long time before that...
I can as I was such a person like OP, thought not a paid game, and I wasn’t dating anyone at the table. Instead, I was effectively brainwashed and gaslit by the DM into feeling sorry for him and sticking around do he wouldn’t have another failed game. I was told by strangers and even my best friend/partner to leave cuz I was miserable, but it was also Sunk Cost Fallacy at that point. I only left when I got sick with The Pandemic and lost all energy and my voice, forcing me to stay away from all games for a good month and a half. I realized then that that only game I missed was the one I DM for, and that I dreaded my sessions as a player. So, I left. I informed the table I was better and recovering, and just stopped joining. I do hear things from the grape vine, as that game and my game share a player, but it’s rare. I would also suffer instant panic if I even hears the DM’s name, which were made even worse if I actually was messaged by him, until I finally had the courage (and the common sense) to just block him, since for the longest time I feared he would retaliate via the shared player if I did block him. Thankfully my own campaign is nearly done (1 or 2 sessions left, and waiting for a map commission before we try to schedule the Final Battle and epilogue of our 2 and a half year game with me as a first time DM).
@@phobiawitch835 Sorry to hear that. I guess in the end it all boils down to the same thing. Emotional extortion in some way or the other. And the naivety of those who didn't knew better at that time. Good to read you found the courage to just block that problem. It starts with the dependency I think. The want for a good game and social interaction with others. I'm not antisocial but also not very social so I have an easy time to say I'm out when I see the earliest redflags. ⛳😆 So seeing all those uploads it just surprises me how long people stick around certain situations in general.
The flags start small and sometimes you may like the other players at the table. Also maybe it is American but as kids were often taught not to quit if it would make other people have a bad time.
I wouldn't be surprised if the DM was cheating on her with the kitsune during the campaign and I would have gotten logs of any messages between the group and got statements from the other players to backup my side of the story, because the only way to deal with a toxic DM like that is the truth.
That DM is trash in my opinion, I hope karma kicked their butt down the road. Happy to hear this person got to make the character they wanted to in the end.
Ngl this really sounds more like an ex lying and trying to make her ex out to be extremely terrible. Like i do believe he favored kitsune and that he got together with her. But we arent told any of these "lies and rumors" and that somehow no one in the friend group talked to her after. It just screams red flags on both sides.
to me it sounds more like terminally online problems. this story and behavior came off as something that went down between discord friends and that OP and DM were e-dating. internet friend groups tend to be way more toxic and always searching for drama so I'm guessing it was a combination of that and what you said.
thank you so much for seeing through it lmao. While i was not personally in this campaign, my close friend was actually the so-called "OP" player, who was a bard so they weren't as powerful as the others and all the talisman did was allow them to make 3 warding spells a day, still took a spell slot, they just didnt have to cough up their life savings for a spell. also all the "forced" on stuff was the egdelords idea entirely, including the cannibalism and sacrificial thing.
Heyo! Im actually the Kitsune "problem" player in the video. Ive noticed you giving a kind of support or at least doubt in the situation described through comments youve made and im actually really greatful for that! While me and my friends dont know when Op wrote the story nor where it originally happened as this whole thing took place over a year, one year ago, me and Dm do think alot of pettiness and revenge was on their mind. There is definitely alot more behind the situation than the post leads on nor what i can say in comments. But youre right on how its a big ol red flag on those "rumors and lies" when we have -total recipet and multi witness proof- of her really gross and frankly offputting behavior. She was not kicked out for "bad roleplay". It was for being a bad partner, a bad friend, and frankly a bad person. No one stopped anyone else from contacting Op. She was even still in contact with one of our group up until this video was shown to him. As for the favoring: im not the best judge cause literally i panic if anyone focuses on me for five minutes so when it was my charaxter's "arc" i avoided alot of plot points like a plague. But at the same time i am a roleplayer at heart and i made a roleplay heavy character. (Who was, might i add, a Con Man and actor in his backstory. His race is an endangered species to boot, so yea. His whole gimmick and ploy was to be a liar who frequently took on fake personas to escape his identity and wrongdoings. The whole Talisman, Party Betrayal, and "Excalibur" things are rants of their own.) Literally could go on for ages. Im really just more of laughing at this story Op wrote and the audacity, lol! Im wearing this video like a golden badge of honor for making it onto my firsr Dnd Horror Story yt video! Even if im the overblowm antagonist, lol! Reddthar the Kitsune would be proud of the drama.
I have to call BS on that story. No one is that much of a doormat to have their character walked all over while being chucked by their boyfriend and the rest of the party just sits quiet despite the broken beyond OP talisman the kitsune got. You want to tell me everyone's brain dead and listening to the oh so Machiavelli DM/Kitsune duo? Fat chance.
Story time: I was in this champaign too, only joining later on, as well and I dated the Kitsune in this story. My character was tied to the character in this story, as the drow was a sort of childhood sister figure in my character's backstory. Many times, the player playing the kitsune would come to me complaining that the other champagne players were not allowing them to do what they wanted to do. Not "having the spotlight" sort of thing. While we were still dating, they preferred to hang out with the dm and have many a one-on-one session while I and others didn't really get much in the way of one shots. Granted the kitsune would also ruin the story for me as they would tell me a lot of it while we were dating, as the dm would basically mouth feed the story elements to them. I finally ended up leaving due to mental health issues and breaking up with the kitsune player, with being promised to being able to join back with the group at any time I can. When I left the champaign the dm played my pc one last time giving a half @$$ed goodbye for my player. Thus begin the excuses from the dm why I can't join the session again. All while seeing people come and go. They end up replacing my character with my characters god, note my character was in a relationship with another pc. The dm didn't want to hear me out on how I wanted my backstory as well. They wanted my player to forcefully have a terrible father when I time and time again noted to them that he wants to reconcile with my character. I also played a homebrew race, but the dm never really gave me as much as a glance from the dm. While the kitsune player got everything and more. They kept building more as they went later wanting to go over things like language, culture, clothing and the like. While I got the bare bones of it. Honestly the dm wasn't the best as they would casually call players dumb or stupid for wanting to do certain actions and make them suffer afterwards. I understand how others might say why go back, I mostly went back for the players not the dm or the ex.
With all due respect; just don't dude. If you were actually in that party you'd know what actually happened, and sounds like you were a pretty bad partner if you didn't see how much the Kitsune player got stressed out from being in the spotlight that they didn't actually want to be in. If anyone wanted to read/hear an overdramatic sob story of "oh woe is me" they'd replay the video.
@@GrubbsyGoop420 Don't comment on something you know nothing about. He was in the game. He played as a homebrew race called a Luneoth which is basically a moth man. He played as a paladin, and his character dated another character to add more story. Part of that was because he was quiet in sessions and just listened for the most part. I just want to say: The quiet ones in a game often get ignored if they don't engage. Nobody in this story is perfect. We're all humans who are learning and growing. There was a lot of this story that wasn't mentioned, like how the kitsune actually did draw the drow, but not to the Lolly specifications because the kitsune was uncomfortable with that (Or do you think forcing someone to draw something they're uncomfortable with is okay?). Or when the drow was banished, the words I heard from the DM were: "We will roleplay it out," Meaning there was a big moment planned, but the drow just didn't understand that and jumped on the drama wagon. I am not the DM. I am another player who is still having fun playing in this session, especially after the main source of our drama left.
@@fledgling9097 yo man I'm gonna say that everything after the whole guy being in the game was good but then you lost me when you blamed the player for being quiet when it's the DM job to remember the players in the game and make sure everyone takes their turns in the game both combat, one on ones and RP so it just sounds like to me that the DM is a very shitty DM while also adding what the player said.
I'm sorry that you have to go through that, the bullshit you went through plus having to date the person who knew and kept fussing about not having the spotlight like they wanted. It's just sounds overall toxic in both the game, the relationship and the players that is all saying the op is the one to blame when you said your part of the story. This is the proof I'm looking for.
@@kayaprettycure5 You know, I wanted to leave this be. But all 7 remaining players are having fun. That's what D&D is all about. So, if we are having fun, the DM is doing a good job. There's so much of this story that is missing.
"The talisman was to allow the Kitsune to cast an unlimited number of spells at will, in a single turn, without material or somatic components" So... campaign over then? I mean, unless you're going to tune EVERY encounter to block the use of this talisman, the fight is over as soon as you reach the Kitsune's turn. They can turn even a cantrip into infinite damage. There is zero point to continuing the campaign with this.
@@IsilmeTuruphant it's really funny how you're smart enough to figure that out, but not smart enough to realize the implications. Given the fact that it didn't play out this way, it should be obvious that this wasn't the case. It's obvious OP is lying.
I think it's not exactly the best idea to play in a campaign your SO is running, as most stories I've heard end badly, and the same goes for personal experience. My ex in two separate campaigns had an NPC who wanted to SA my character (which luckily never happened as a party member killed him in a combat encounter since he was part of a rival group) and in a separate one actively tried to kill my character, which im pretty sure was because I played a male when I'm a female. My backup character was also a male, and he said an NPC would shoot him because he was the type who didn't get along well with others until he had some time to get used to and trust people, which I guess would have annoyed the NPC because he was too combative. I had suggested a few female character concepts before settling on the male characters, and he seemed far more interested in those ideas. But a mutual (who sided with me post break-up) told me that he told them he didnt care about my own stories and opinions anyway so maybe it was just him being himself, and that was not a good person
So... where was the "happy ending"? All I got out of this story was "the DM and problem player kept screwing me over, and now they have gotten rid of me."
As funny as it sounds, that is the happy ending. The op doesn't have to deal with their bs anymore and is in a presumably healthier ttrpg group with good people.

OP flat out manipulated every single person in that party including their ex (multiple times) and conveniently forgot to mention how the "forced" things like the cannibalism and soul sacrifice was THEIR IDEA. also the talisman only let them cast 3 warding spells a day or smth, still took a spell slot just didnt drain their pockets for a single spell is all.

I get it. Finding games is hard. Finding campaigns that last more than a handful of sessions is even harder. But damn, the Nun Drow player had the patience of a saint. I would have quit far sooner with that bullshit.
The amulet could be interesting if it were tweaked to only allow casting of spell slots & single use once every 2d4 days. So they could go all out in a single encounter, but then be stuck with what's left & need to wait at a minimum two days to use it again.

I was in a group that had a mc wannabe player. One of the last sessions was me, mc wannabe, a bard, and a gun user. I don't remember the gun class as it was based on an anime I never seen. The mc wannabe was a Saiyan child that was the son of a wealthy family, and I was a Hyuga through Naruto 5e. We were lvl3 and are at the final push with about 20 kobalds using slingshots, 1 was nicknamed scope as he was constantly being a buff for our gunner. Ahead of us was a few dozen enemies, and only part 1 of the 2 battle. The mc wannabe held back with an elder kobald during this first fight.... and all he did was chase his tail.... I stood at the front line and prevented enemies from getting to our range units, and our gunner went full sniper, taking out enemies with his scope that kept changing how it was aiding the gunner, it was funny. The mc wannabe did help during the boss fight, which giving him ssj that early was way too op, but whatever. I recorded the games and have them unlisted on my channel, it was an experience....
The DM was wrong in everything they did. They are not a DM. But I do hope and wish people that play the game start seeing this flags, and have the courage to right then and there tell the DM off and walk away. So called DM's like that ruin the game for everyone and so do problem players like that.

I’m sorry, but PAID dm?! Whom you were DATING?! Man really had his GF playing D&D with him & instead of appreciating how great that was extorted her for money. On top of everything else
This OP included so many red flags about themself. Like, you’re mad your child character didn’t get drawn with boobs? You think that this thing the dm included means you can’t be a nun, in a world with atonement spells? Sounds like they were just mad someone else had some input on the world.
2:30 Okay, first off, boo hoo, someone made a plot twist. Second, you could have just said that your chatacyer didn't know. Third and finally, you two could have just said that people did actually notice, and have the large amount of missing children during that time be a plot twist for later on in the campain for your character to discover.
Honestly at some point OP deserved what was happening. I mean seriously why would they keep playing. I know it´s sometimes harder to leave then it would appear but this is just ridiculous.
Because she was with the dm and thought it'd get better when her story arc started ...but yeah then kitsune hijacked it...not sure how they deserve to be treated that way especially with someoene they're in a relationship with
Because of the fact that the DM was probably already cheating on her with the kitsune well before they got together, that would explain everything honestly
Nobody deserves this, some people are better or worse at spotting red flags, and on top of that rose-tinted glasses can blindside you hard, especially with a romantic partner. Never make the mistake of thinking you're too smart to miss red flags or overlook them lest you are caught blindsided by them and wondering what happened. Nobody is immune to this completely. It's always a risk with trust.
Okay okay, no, and I don’t care if no one believes me but, I’m one of the people in this campaign. We are still playing this campaign and out Kitsune bard is still here. What the drow forgot to tell you is that they bullied the Kitsune bard into not rping or interacting with the DM because the drow and dm were dating at the time. She also bullied another player, a leonin Druid into not rping even though it was her first game. It’s so funny how many details in this campaign were wrong. I thought we were done with this drama. The problem player has always been the drow and you all watched the wrong side of the story. It’s not even write. Our note taker can prove all of this wrong. Be hey believe what you all want to believe. We are gonna have fun with our Kitsune bard. Our amazing dm how has gone over the moon with us. With out the Mary sue drow. Keep dnding everyone.
Do you have proof of what happened and the bullying. Like I told the lucky player I don't believe it since you all came out of nowhere and said a lot of stuff that isn't fully explaining anything, if anything it just seems like a train of "no u" type of replies and "we have 47 screenshots of proof" when no one is showing nothing. After the OP in this story left, all of the drama stopped. As a matter of fact, we had one player who was brand new to D&D, but the OP ruined the game for this new player, but after the OP left, the new player was able to sprout her wings and become a key part of the game again. The OP's toxicity destroyed two games; I was running the second game not mentioned in this story. I was running an ocean themed game with the OP. So, let me tell you a story of how the OP ruined my game. "There was a group of creatures called "The dark Merfolk" who were merfolk trapped in the underdark waters for over four hundred years and manipulated by magic. The underdark is a very unforgiving place and they had changed for the worse. The dark merfolk devoured souls to power their armies, they treated these souls as sacred until they found use for them. I made sure to make them very clearly evil." "The OP starts attacking how I'm running the game while we are setting up for this fight. Saying that this isn't something her character would do along with a lot of hurtful comments, even with me pointing out that they are very clearly evil, DEVOURING SOULS. After about thirty minutes of demeaning the game that I put a lot of love into, I left the call. After that conversation, the game was ruined for me, I lost my inspiration, so when the fight happened, it was very lack-luster. She sucked the happiness I found through running the game right out of me and spit it on the curb like it meant nothing." That's the abridged version of the story. There was a lot more that stressed me out: My first DM recently died of cancer, she was amazing but losing her was difficult and made me think to reach out to other players I'd played with in the past to reconnect. I recently reached out to the OP to talk about running a few oneshots for her and a few other players. After OP talked about running the same character, I had a mini panic attack and ghosted her. I feel bad for Ghosting, but once I was able to calm down enough, I realized there was a reason for that panic attack.
At will just means it doesn't require a spell slot, they still require the appropriate time or action and components, etc. For example, cantrips are at will spells. At this point I'm gonna comment on here and say that all the people from that campaign is here in the comments. I kinda don't believe it since it seems like you all was told to say these things ngl unless people have proof of the interactions and stuff but then again I'm just a person on the internet
@@addison_v_ertisement1678 i just noticed this lol. first off, all the people came out of the woodworks saying how there is proof but keeps on backing out while we as the outside people have no clue and from this story that no name was made but now knowing that they only did that so the problem player can have their few seconds of attention is really telling of the group so no need for the proof anymore. secondly, why do i need proof of why i care so much, like i said before a year ago i am a person on the internet that has no clue what's going on and seeing how they all handle it gets people wanting to see the proof that they oh so wanted to share, to proved that they was in the right and the op friend was the drama when again how the group handle it all is very telling of who was drama and who wasn't is all. from what i can see the group is drama, the DM is a bad DM who not only don't listen to ALL of the players but also changed their story as well. like i said before i don't play dnd anymore but know a bad DM who have their favorite players and when the less favorite players leave then it's more enjoyable for them sure but the things that lead up to everything isn't what people care about mostly since the blame will always be on the player and never the DM unless it's something super super bad. the DM needs to have some blame cuz it's the DM game, it's the responsibly of the DM of all the players taking turns/making sure everyone wants to do RP in the areas and if the players are actually doing their part and the DM not answering or even forgetting about them, then it's all on the DM and they don't care about what you want to do and what your character want to do.
My Role player in the Forgotten Realms, that DM was trying to push you out from the start. Good odds the asshat was already dating the problem player too.
There is a saying. No D&D is better than Bad D&D. I left my ex's Master's game because I was bullied for trying to play the character the way it was designed (LE Oni-Tiefling Samurai). He had made the character so I could join. Lasted maybe three sessions before I had enough of his and my ex-wife's BS.
"DM forced me to be a canabal" - leave that dnd group... don't need to hear anymore... DM does not have the right to dictate character traits or who you want to play, they dictate how the world reacts to you, and balances items/stats....
The backstory hijack is questionable but workable, namely it was the character's mother (who like it or not is in the dms control) who chose to feed her childern. Which is an interesting dark side to the story of a rather tragic character. The Kitsune getting a holy symbol that allowed thunderwave without somatic and no action is broken , at most MAYBE once a short rest for free as a bonus action that doesn't take up the normal 1 turn spell usage. The art stuff is the Kitsune's player being a butt towards The OP player, but if the dm allowed the exchange of art for play that's fine on that end. Betrayal by the Kitsune's bs is a ridiculous situation to deal with and shouldn't have been allowed to happen so randomly. Good stuff for killing the boss with silver weapon OP, that's queen stuff. Kitsune's rejoining is a ridiculous bs. The sword magic item is a bs. The revenant blade sounds okay but definitely not that level. The Angel is ridiculous and the soul for soul bs is frustrating and I'd quit at the that point. Glad to find out you stood up for yourself but that's frustrating as hell.
@@fledgling9097 ....where's this proof ? And also both sides of this can be true still(the back story hijack notably ), don't think just because she's also an asshole doesn't mean kitsune's player is innocent of said behavior because as you just said "don't believe everything you read "
@@fledgling9097 okay so you're not posting proof then , you instead want me to believe someone else's posting ....that's not a great foot to start on. I can't testify to your time with OP but I'd definitely say if even half of what she said was true about Kitsune's player and that dm that's potentially her projecting her anger onto others after getting hurt which is unhealthy and she needs to get that checked. Don't tell me about your past , I'm not here for it. I'm sorry you lost your original dm but that's not this subject. So kitsune drew the character wrong. I say that as someoene who knows at least 4 people who'd be considered that body type irl, so I come from a place of understanding that it might be OP's actual size and body at the time she's describing and might feel a bit annoyed/angry that some sees it as inappropriate to draw. Especially as the character isn't explicitly sexual/sexualized in the contents of the story/back story. Now OP and that DM, if that's about this specific story , were in a relationship at the time right ? So I'm not going to say "you heard wrong " but I'd point out there are things couples will say to each other to get the other to potentially get the other to recognize "hey, we should talk about this later." without directly saying it and that might be DM's to her, which set her off. Also if anything about the kitsune getting the spotlight and being that powerful even during the scenes where it was about stuff relating to OP's backstory and OP was skipped over for character specific magic items even if everything else your said is true ....this is the story of at least 2 people (OP and that DM) who were generally a holes toward each other and kitsune got caught in the Mix.
@@fledgling9097I'm glad you're having good times and hope they keep going . That 6 months is a few games but hey it's life it happens . So one thing if the character dies it doesn't make someone not OP, namely, I say this as I've been in a postion where I had a character die due to bad luck but dm gave a mulligan and that character has not gotten close to dying again though we have no dedicated healers. It's sometimes on the player more than the character, because it doesn't matter if you have a character with 20 ac and gives disadvange on most attacks against them if the player doesn't know how to use them properly especially if that Revenant blade and holy symbol item that does thunderwave did exist in the game anywhere near as broken as OP described and the kitsune still was dying.
@@fledgling9097 so drawing a creatures anal cavity isn't the same as drawing someoene who's a bit young looking . Especially as in this case she did draw a mindflayer's butt but now it's not as close up on the hole and it's got thick cheeks in the way. I understand if kitsune is not a fan of the design and I'd just simply say to her reject drawing it , instead of "sure I'll draw it ...but I'll age this and that up ". I say this as someoene who has directly asked several artist over the the years (which I've commissioned so it's not like I'm going "give me free art ...but not like that!" ) go smaller on the chest size of characters (small C/large B) just to get a chest size that'd you see Pamela Anderson Lee rocking in the mid 90s. So this is where I'm much more on OP's side , even if she did draw it , drawing it wrong is still drawing it wrong and straight up a "no " would have been better. And this is where I'd also be on kitsune's side at that point if she's harassing and attacking just simply mute and move on forwarding anything said to everyone else, I doubt you'd be okay with it and feel it's dragging down everything you all came to do(play some dnd).

Hiya! Thats cool if ya think that! I can understand how it can seem like that, and i have been nervous before about seeming like a main character. Ive always actively tried to avoid things centered round my pc. None of us but Dm knew it was even "my arc" until i got the sword (which ONLY gave me access to Eldritch Blast and Call lightning once per day. And i never used it for anything other than Blast, and smacking an anti magic cat for 1 damage cause i suck at swords. XD Talisman was just an arcane focus, but with a sigil slapped on it and one cool bonus, which admitably WAS broken at first, Dm and i realized that quickly and nerfed it very soon after to almost inability to use.) I actually do have my receipts tho, on alot of the behaviors and conversations between me and Op in our dms. Including when she tried to persuade me its not inappropriate to draw a 16yr old girl in a jessica rabbit style, admitted herself she was being manipulative to CAUSE, not solve the fighting between my pc and the rogue, or try and ask for a relationship _multiple times_ with this apparently hated "main character" fox man. There is plenty more, but these are just some examples i do have proof of on my own. Not including other accounts my party backs up. I tried for very long to make and be friends with Op. Again, got text proof of me trying to make amends. But... that didnt stop Op from...whatever this story is. Cause its all really fake ngl.

The Pc was 400yr+, but in the body of a 16yr old girl as she stopped aging when she was afflicted with her strain of homebrewed lycanthropy. And frankly, if youre writing a story in which you want yourself to come out as a good guy, you probably also wouldnt include the really gross sex jokes you made about your child like pc, and how you demanded and forced your dm to give your child pc a girlfriend npc to bang. Which i have 6 other people as witness to. This story is full of alot of lies, omitting of truths, and i cannot really break them all down here. hence why im talkin with my friends bout maybe posting on reddit too
This is so fucked. There's so many red flags but i can see how given the dm was her partner, i can get how red flags can be missed when blinded with rose-tinted glasses. Rose-tinted glasses aren't exclusive to romantic relationships either, and those most vulnerable to this are those too trusting and conflict-averse, and those who think they're too smart to miss red flags. Nobody, is immune to getting rose-tinted glasses with people they trust or hold close. I hope the OP finds both a better partner, better friends who aren't so quick to turn, and a better DM to enjoy many more adventures to come and not be deterred from her journey into the world of D&D!
Did no one else have any gripes about the ex boyfriend? I won't call him a DM I just won't cause that's not what he is. How would anyone be able to stand that at all?
The DMs should never create someone's backstory. They can certainly veto aspects of the backstory not consistent or plausible with the campaign. The DM cannot "force" group cohesion or ignore player agency. The DM showed favoritism instead of being an impartial arbiter.
Are these stories vetted or pre-read? This is so "everyone was against me, sob sob". not enjoyable. "Everyone is against me and everyone is garbage EXCEPT ME. Sounds like a "woe is me" fan fiction writer.
There's no click bait dude. It's phrased as it is cause it's based on Reddit posts where someone is asking more or less the title. Unsubscribe if you don't like it but don't pretend we're with you.
funny thing is the story's fake af too. it was OP's own ideas that were "forced" apon them and their character, like the cannibalism and the sacrifice, and conviently left out the part where they were booted from the group for repeatedly manipulating the entire party and throwing hissy fits when they couldnt be the bad@$$ edgelord main character they wanted to be.
So the DM was either sleeping with the kitsune, or wanted to.
Edit after finishing the video: Yuuuuuuuup forgot the DM was OP's partner somehow.
Most likely, the former.

3) The Kitsune needs to assist my character in achieving his/her dreams
and 4) The Kitsune must be quested to find a way to cure the lycanthropy.
Else her body and soul are forfeit to the demon, and my character has his soul returned, with no going back on the deal.
Now that is genius of a contract with a demon, because they are all Lawful by nature.

I will never understand how people can waste their lifetime on redflagged campaigns for more than the session in which the red flags where discovered.

Sorry to hear that.
So seeing all those uploads it just surprises me how long people stick around certain situations in general.
It's because finding a good group is so hard. When you wanna play, you give it a chance.
The flags start small and sometimes you may like the other players at the table. Also maybe it is American but as kids were often taught not to quit if it would make other people have a bad time.
Because im a pushover
I would have left the table, broke up with the dm and found a new table after the first session.
I wouldn't be surprised if the DM was cheating on her with the kitsune during the campaign and I would have gotten logs of any messages between the group and got statements from the other players to backup my side of the story, because the only way to deal with a toxic DM like that is the truth.

thank you so much for seeing through it lmao.
The whole Talisman, Party Betrayal, and "Excalibur" things are rants of their own.)
Literally could go on for ages.
Fat chance.
its gotten to the point where paid DMs are now a red flag to me
Always are
Story time: I was in this champaign too, only joining later on, as well and I dated the Kitsune in this story.

The amulet could be interesting if it were tweaked to only allow casting of spell slots & single use once every 2d4 days. So they could go all out in a single encounter, but then be stuck with what's left & need to wait at a minimum two days to use it again.
The title is misleading, the dm being in the wrong was a givin pretty much from the start.
It’s so obvious that this DM/boyfriend was or was planning on cheating with the kitsune’s player. Hope they get what’s to come to them.
Heya, I'm a part of this campaign and I was brought in to replace this character, whose name was Drona. Drona was a massive edgelord who frequently made other players uncomfortable and had a tantrum when things didn't go their way.
But you was there to replace her so it seems like you didn't meet the OP and hear what the DM, MC player and the rest of the lies of the others following that I'm sure that the DM and others said. If we are going off of op post
I just don't understand how no one took her side after all the bullying she was receiving from her ex.
it could be a number of reasons, i think from what i got from it is that the ex was saying lies to the other players which is why no one stepped in to help plus it's a paid campaign so they probably think that if they say something then they will get the same thing like OP
@@kayaprettycure5 what he was lying how he gave the main Kitsune all the stuff and foursed OP to do stuff agaisnt her will and lied about banished her form her OWN story arc
@@egbert5871 I'm pretty sure it's a no from the item since it's showed that everyone knew about it, I mean the reason why the rest of the party didn't back OP up on the bullying that the DM was doing to OP. Like the DM lying to the others that OP agreed to the change and all that happened with the problem player
We never get the other player's perspective but I wish there was more on their reaction. I think a lot of them were just glad they weren't getting targeted and kept their heads down, which was terrible of them.
@@ddqfpluskick that can also be it too, mixed with maybe lies about stuff too on how the op was. Plus some of the players is in the comments but they haven't shown the proof of the op actually bullying the kitsune player and kinda just left after revealing themselves. Idk I get bad vibes on this group, I'm glad I'm not in this campaign
Wow, what shit-headed "Paid DM" and he/she was dating the OP?! This taking "cheating on you significant other" to a hole new low. How dare they taint DnD like this?! A curse upon them!!!
I’m sorry, but PAID dm?! Whom you were DATING?! Man really had his GF playing D&D with him & instead of appreciating how great that was extorted her for money. On top of everything else
This DM needs to be sent back to DM school, and kitsune should be in DnD jail.
No, the DM needs to be disbarred.
This OP included so many red flags about themself. Like, you’re mad your child character didn’t get drawn with boobs? You think that this thing the dm included means you can’t be a nun, in a world with atonement spells? Sounds like they were just mad someone else had some input on the world.
bruh... that's just fucked up...
Clearly they were creeping, that game should have been dead instantly. That GM is garbage and should be permabanned from ever gming
I will never understand why anyone would ever pay for dnd
@@akira1086 you aren't wrong, love can put some big blinders on you for the sake of companionship
WHAT. THE. HECC.
Why would anyone pay to play let alone put up with all that?! It's like they say, sometimes no D&D is better than bad D&D.
DM been cheating. And you paid to watch it happen, smh /facepalm
If op did bully others than show it but other than that it's just seems like a weird we gonna protect this "amazing" DM and Mary sue player also if you don't care then why leave a comment??
This. Is. Indescribably SADISTIC!!!
Main character syndrome player?CHECK!
Toxic biased Dungeonmaster?CHECK!
Unbelievably cruel sadistic choices in-game & inability to protest? CHECK! CHECK & CHECK!
Reprehensible changes to background story just to make the problem player look better? BIG CHECK!
Forcing screwed player to be unceremoniously taken out of the game then penalised for things no fault of the victim-player? CRIMSON FLAGS!!
Many sympathies for the Tiefling Bloodhunter player
Almost checks every standard dnd horror story perfectly. Honestly I think all parties were in the wrong and that OP is hiding/ignoring hers to frame DM and Kitsune as being worse than what truly happened.
@@kingwildcat6192000 There are 47 screenshots of this OP bullying the Kitsune player, all in direct messages. The OP is manipulating the narrative behind closed doors to paint herself in a better light.
I am very glad that you can see through the lies. You seem like someone I would be friends with.
I made sure to make them very clearly evil."
"The OP starts attacking how I'm running the game while we are setting up for this fight. She sucked the happiness I found through running the game right out of me and spit it on the curb like it meant nothing."
That's the abridged version of the story.
So apart from.being a huge piece of shit human being, theyre also a shitty DM who doesnt understand the rules. Like, really, the whole game was wish fullfilment power fantasy for 1 player while everyone just gets to watch.
@@fledgling9097 the plot thickens
@@Mr_GoR_ I want to tell you a story about this particular OP. There was always an underlying fear of disappointing her, because when she was upset or disappointed, she would lash out at everyone around her.
I was a DM for this OP in a different game. There was a moment where I was introducing a group of creatures called "The dark Merfolk" who were merfolk trapped in the underdark waters for over four hundred years and manipulated by magic. The underdark is a very unforgiving place and they had changed for the worse. The dark merfolk devoured souls to power their armies, they treated these souls as sacred until they found use for them. I made sure to make them very clearly evil.
The OP starts attacking how I'm running the game while we are setting up for this fight.
The only reason I didn't outright quit being a DM was because of the DM of this story. They helped me regain my confidence that was shattered.
I recently lost my first DM due to cancer. That prompted me to reach out to the OP. But I had a panic attack when we talked about running oneshots. That's how bad she was.
sounds to me like they were dating when the campaign began
At this point I'm gonna comment on here and say that all the people from that campaign is here in the comments. I kinda don't believe it since it seems like you all was told to say these things ngl unless people have proof of the interactions and stuff but then again I'm just a person on the internet
But ngl it did seems like the DM wanted what was in the kisune pants but still since one of you guys said you had 47 screenshots of proof so... 👀
First off, they don't need to prove it to you.
Second off, where is *your* proof if you care about this so much?
Uh, wasn't this supposed to have a happy ending?
And this is where I'd also be on kitsune's side at that point if she's harassing and attacking just simply mute and move on forwarding anything said to everyone else, I doubt you'd be okay with it and feel it's dragging down everything you all came to do(play some dnd).
another End story with a group of weirdos and someone crying about it instead of doin something about it.... surprise surprise
Because the situation isn't always a slam dunk feel good win , most times it ends like this
LOL omg! Hi!, Im Lucky, Also known as Reddthar, or the Kitsune problem player in this story! Honestly its an honor to actually feature in a YT Dnd Reddit Horror Story reading! Even if alot of this is blatant lies and not really true. I've already shown this to the Dm, and *her* and i are open and willing for communication with anyone wanting more clarifications! Reciepts too. Not to mention, if anyone has a link to a reddit story this came from, id love a link!
By the way!! Absolutely LOVE the thumbnail art!! Absolutely adore it and the style. Literally listening to the video for the third time now while making my own fanart and making it more like his design i made in my own style!
Ngl I don't believe that you and the DM wasn't the problem since mostly it seems like from the start you guys was setting up for bullying and just overall mary sue type of things
XD Talisman was just an arcane focus, but with a sigil slapped on it and one cool bonus, which admitably WAS broken at first, Dm and i realized that quickly and nerfed it very soon after to almost inability to use.)
I actually do have my receipts tho, on alot of the behaviors and conversations between me and Op in our dms.
@@TheLuckyBlackChat then make a reddit and post the proof of the bullying, the fledged person kept saying how you have the 47 screenshots of the bullying and everything to whatever also I wanna add that there is no where in the story about the character is 16 years old so I found it weird since do you know how old op character was?? and also that people keep saying how she wanted the characters to be a Loli which isn't irrelevant to the story and info we got so it just seems like more foolishness to get people to be upset at the op ngl
im actually workin on that reply post.@@kayaprettycure5 Just also counting my ducks with my friends/other people involved to make sure theyre all in a row and my friends okay with it. If she can post, so can i. But im gonna add art cause im a doodler lol
Additionally, the pc wasnt *actually* sixteen. This story is full of alot of lies, omitting of truths, and i cannot really break them all down here. hence why im talkin with my friends bout maybe posting on reddit too
That DM and kitsune can burn to death in the the nine hells both game wise and reality. That was wrong of them on so many levels.
Agreed its def a petty "revenge" sob story for some sympathy points. Like just look at these comments.
People can be petty. Sounds like they were taking personal relationships issues out on their partner.

funny thing is the story's fake af too. it was OP's own ideas that were "forced" apon them and their character, like the cannibalism and the sacrifice, and conviently left out the part where they were booted from the group for repeatedly manipulating the entire party and throwing hissy fits when they couldnt be the bad@$$ edgelord main character they wanted to be.
