- In this video i take you guys along with me as i install a cold air intake on my car. I wasnt too please with the design and quality of parts of the intake but i got it installed nonetheless.

I purchased the aFe CAI (Momentum GT) because of the very problems you describe about the Airaid. It's helped propel my V-wagon to 10.3/134 in the 1/4.
yea man its super clean, previous owner took care of it for sure & yea thats the reason i went with airaid all the videos and reviews seemed like a good product i guess i was wrong & well thank you for the support and deff stick around and watch the build!!!
good content. i used the intake from corsa. the box that holds the filter is one piece. after installation i definitely noticed a louder whine from the supercharger.

Very strange that you had any issues. My Airaid went in without a fight. You have to put the filter and box in at a certain angle. I’m running the green filter and I had no issues.
I also had zero issue installing the cover plate so I’m not sure what’s going on there. Did you make sure it goes under the hood weather stripping? The Airaid with the green filter flows the best. That’s why everyone uses it.
Also, stick the emblem on and use a heat gun and the sticker will stick just fine. Seems like you gave up easy and gave it a 4/10. I’ve ran several intakes and this one is 10/10. With evidence from being tuned.
you almost make it seem like its not possible to receive a bad part from a company. Also stated in video if you watched it before running to the comment section i stated i triple checked the instructions and even went as far as watching others videos to make sure i wasnt doing something wrong. I also stated i tried to put the lid under the weather stripping, the lid and the frame of the airbox has 4 holes, and only 4 holes and guess what mine didnt line up at ALL to the point where i had to drill into airbox and use push pins to secure the lid. The point i was trying to make in the video was that ive also installed MANY intakes between differnent brands of cars and this airaid intake was one the worst to be installed couldved been designed better. why should i have to “hold the filter & box at a certain angle that you said” if this is supposed to be a direct replacement to factory intake. All in all im glad you didnt have trouble with yours if i had to do it all over again wouldny buy airaid again🤷🏽♂️
your head lights are super bright. Are they stock bulbs?
as far as i know im pretty sure they are the stock Hids that come with the car
