Hello Tom, yes apologies, it's a 6-speed manual gearbox, I must have got muddled up with the 1.3 diesel as that comes with the 5-speed manual gearbox. Thanks for highlighting that.
Had a 1.4 94hp hire car from Lyon to Sienna recently. Ok sitting for hours on Autostradas at 130 kph in 6th, but absolutely gutless pulling away from toll booths. Agreed, terrible gear throw!

The 1.4 petrol comes in either 95hp or a 120hp turbo. The latter would be my choice
