Thanks for the guide, it's so helpful It's my first Tekken and I just managed to reach Mighty Ruler today thanks to your guides and gameplay videos 😄 Keep up the good work and gl for your next tournaments 👌
I'm a ruler player but struggled learning Leo. Never understood the game plan but thanks to your video I just got them to mighty ruler. Great stuff! Wonder how far I can get.
Thank you for this! The way you described the situations to use the moves makes it easy to visualize when I should be throwing them out and I'm getting a better grasp of how Tekken's turns work in general
Your channel really cariied me, I'd have dropped this character a long time ago had I not watched your sick gameplays! Finally escaped yellow ranks with the help of b1,1+2 (bok2) alone lol. How do you know which combo to use to carry to the wall? is there some hard rules or does it come with experience?
Glad to hear the videos are helping out ^^ When it comes to combos it really comes down to experience and just trying out stuff while playing. you will get a feeling for how far certain moves will carry to the wall or how much is needed for it. Always good to know all the options and find the best one by just trying it out in real matches.
Wall carry is most valuable if you can get to the wall with your tornado still active. b1,4,qcf3,1,2 is a very simple way to pick up a lot of distance off of pretty much every launcher while keeping tornado. see what you can come up with that's better!
hope it helps you a bit. leo actually has a lof of options against the characters but they are very specific and not easy to learn. like the parrys and sabakis can help out a lot too. but i know how you feel, i've been there aswell
Sir, The issue, i have is the KNK cancels. I know they are not necessary but on block its fine but in combos, i drop them allllllll the daamnnn time, when i look at the command history, the up to cancel the knk doesnt even register and instead of f4, ws 4 is what comes out and it is very frustrating.
Like he said, it’s specific usage only and it’s also a high attack which enemy can duck on reaction. More so because Leo’s other mid attack also give you high reward
id say mix of both. leo is very good in mixing up defense and offense. the evasive moves, keepout and parrys are great for a defensive plays and the ch tools and decent pokings are nice to go in as an offense way. you really need that balance with leo if you wanna be successful
I struggle so much in neutral with leo. I was fighting a bryan and he annihilated me in neutral. Leos ch are awful you don’t have a good mid ch that launches many characters have stupid braindead ch.
leos ch's are pretty good but timing plays an important part of it. not only is the matchup knowledge important but also mixing up your timings and ch tools. i know how frustrating it can be when you just cant start anything. just keep at it and take it as an experience.
I was learning leo in 7 dropped them in 8 but this video makes me want to pick him up 😊
The second hit of uf2,1 on ch gives you the same mini combo you get ftom the magic 4 if you don't want to use the heat.
uf2,1ch! - d1+2,1+2 - d3+4
Yes true thanks for adding this.

Thank you very much for the kind words. Glad to help out. and more videos will come out 100%
I discovered that after ch ss1+2
Qcf 2,1(2 hit as ch) and sbaki ch you can pick up more easily with dash f4!!
And also after upf 2,1(2 hit ch)

Thanks a lot ^^
Amazing video! I picked up leo a week ago. I was able to make good progress thanks to your videos. Looking forward to the Heat guide 😁
Good breakdown of Leo's tools, found it helpful even though ive played quite a bit

Great guide thank you!!!😊😊
Thanks for the guide!!!
do you play on hitbox, stick, or pad? your inputs are super clean
im playing on a ps5 pad
def need this bc im hard stuck in the middle of blue and feel like Leo has so little answers to half the cast 😭

i want to do a guide for the cancel so keep an eye on that ^^
i'm surprised you don't rate db3 highly as a pro player. it's so good and so satisfying when you expect a high end from a string
Like he said, it’s specific usage only and it’s also a high attack which enemy can duck on reaction.
More so because Leo’s other mid attack also give you high reward
How would u classify leo? More defensive or offensive? Im rlly liking shaheen and looking for someone else to try
id say mix of both. leo is very good in mixing up defense and offense. the evasive moves, keepout and parrys are great for a defensive plays and the ch tools and decent pokings are nice to go in as an offense way. you really need that balance with leo if you wanna be successful
Can explain ws3/qcf3 pick ups on certain combos im having a hard time with the timing
Hmm hard to explain cause its always different depending on the move. I might do a Video about it
Please do a heat video!
will happen for sure!
