The most important is use marine grade connections. Because the salt water dose not mess around. They will be corroded in a month or less if you are using regular contact and wire .Good stuff to properly keep those diesel healthy warm up to operation temperature.... And after oil is 120F. Rev up the engine at higher throttle to make sure the valves are burning off junk. This will give you a much healthier engine.
