How many chances does he need to score 18 goals? He must miss four or five good chances a game. LFC are top of the table when it comes to making chances for their strikers. It's no good if they can't put the majority of those chances away. A Michael, Robbie Fowler, or an Ian Rush would be knocking in 40 goals a season off these chances.
Yea how many goals did he score in crucial moments or against top 6?

That's true there's no argument about that because let's face facts. Darin Neunez is a good player no question. But the truth is, when a new manager comes in, you don't know what you going to get. It's the big moments that make or break a striker. If he finishes the big chances, you're talking about him as a striker with goals that's added assists to his game. He's got everything but composure.
Get Ian Rush or Robbie Fowler in to train Darwin Nunez how to finish…hard work and practice on the training field will improve his finishing and a little bit of confidence will make all the difference

I honestly don't see how the way Klopp plays contributed to him missing clear chances. If he wasn't getting the right supply or struggling to get in the right positions, I would have understood.
Either way, after two seasons it still sounds like Liverpool needs a miracle to make him work. You can't keep on relying on miracles to be successful. Just accept that it didn't work out and release him like we did with the likes of Minamino.

i am nunezs biggest critic but nunez has been very good at times under klopp when everything was going well and he felt the finger wasnt pointed at him, the truth is deep down klopp had his doubts about nunez and never trusted him in big games, whether he was 'right or wrong' the player himself is going to pick up on that. Arne will believe in him and trust him more but if he isn't getting the job done and isn't playing with confidence we shall have to take a hit on what we paid and sell him.
