Diminishing Slot's achievements this season because PSV have hit unprecedented form? Feyernoord have 1 point less now than at the same point last season and have lost twice in the league all season.

But that is what City do every year… that’s what he is walking into… and now Arsenal and Spurs are on the up as well. He is stepping into the fire. Good luck to him. He will need to get used to not winning even though his team may be playing the best soccer.

PSV also have better wider squad than Feyenoord - they invested over 53 mln in summer - Feyenoord only 35. Feyenoord make 3 expensive wrong transfers - ueda 9mln, ivanusec 8 and zerrouki 7 - none of them is good enough this season. PSV on the other hand made really good if not fantasic transfers - lozano15mln, tillman-loan, lang-12.5 mln, schouten 12 mln, dest-loan. Realy quality transfers. This is the difference - it made difference in title battle. PSV had good transfers, Feyenoord not many.

Arne Slot is a very talented, charismatic coach with a fixed style of play regardless of opponent and opinions and he is very strong in communicating, inspiring and preparing his players to be their very best versions of themselves, while preserving harmony. Still replacing a legend like Mr. Klopp is tough for anyone. Except for German and Spanish coaches the PL has been tough to achieve success for most foreign coaches.

I dont think he will improve defensively - in CL Feyenoord was eliminated based on defensive silly mistakes. It may ba caused by poor quality of Feyenoord defenders or bad managing without the ball. In my opinion it was bad quality of defenders - they scored 2 own goals against atletico home and away they also made sillt mistakes - liverpool defenders are also not very good.
Biggest Slot weakness is set pieces - Feyenoord conceded from set pieces the most. This is the problem and weakness for dutch teams for decades. I dont know how he will deal with it with much more quality players than Feyenoord in Liverpool. I think liverpool needs to buy few central defenders from italy. Italian defenders are the best at defending set pieces.

It’s not like Slot won the Eredivisie again this year? Ten Hag was the better job at the end of the day by becoming 3x Eredivisie champion and a semi final with Ajax which was only done by PSV in 2004.

Team shot conversion must rise from 5% to 15% in run-in. Being fit to play after injury is not same as being in top form. It takes a month to get hot.
Jota injury & Gakpo birth are why LFC lost as Mo's out of form. His conversion rate before injury was 23% & now it's 6%. If Jota had stayed fit, & Gakpo baby came a few hours later LFC wud be champs easily.
JOTA'S CONVERSION rate is 33%. (& on big chances Jota converts a world best 66%) - LFC has 1 worldy clinical finisher & ManC has 2 in Haaland & Alverez.
Anytime u win a cup & get into UCL, its a good season, so be grateful & stop moaning.
Emyln Hughes & Cyrille Regis & Geoff Astle all died before age 60 & never got to see their kids married or play footy with teenage grandkids.
Brighton will defeat Man C & Arsenal will be favourites & both have loseable games vs Spurs.
LFC have a 15% chance but its better than a 1% chance. U can't do much more when injuries rob u of ur top boys. Losing derbies akways hurt like toothache, get over it & pray 4 world peace to make good luck karma kop fans.

And these two gentleman are really considered top of the young upcoming managers. Yet they didn't dare accept the job. WHY? They know the pressure in Liverpool could be at least 10 times more than where they are now. They know this job carries a lot of expectations from Liverpool's fans all over the world. But then why would Arnie Slot takes up this job? Does he have the necessary experience, tactical and man management skills to do it? We just fear he could turn out to be another Ten Hag. And Liverpool cannot afford to let the new manager a long time to bed in as then teams like Spurs, Villa and Brighton, could move above us. We could be out of the champions league if we fall behind these 3 teams. Liverpool really needs to decide well the manager we need. A wrong move could destroy whatever Klopp built in the 9 years. And his teams always played manic football, just like Man U is having now, that gave Ajax some great performances but also some very stupid losses like the one vs Spurs. And he was already terrible at bringing in players, but he mostly had Overmars to do that job, unlike at Man U.

The problem for Slot is that every team in the PL wants to beat them so it’s not just the main rivals. It’s every team and every team steps up their game for the Liverpool game. Is he going to be able to manage that pressure for every game. I don’t think so and then how long will he get before the fans start realising that he is out of his depth for the PL. it’s a different beast to what he is used to. TH cam with the same enthusiasm and is now still sticking to his guns when his fan base is calling for him to be sacked. Liverpool haven’t won the league for 4yrs already so how much time will fans give him before becoming despondent with winning nothing? He is in a no win situation even though he wants to be there. Good luck to him but he is walking into the fire with open eyes.

Lfc should put in a 100 million bid for Cole palmer and 100 for musialh and sell , Diaz and salah. Try and get 60 for Nunez and put in a 80 for martinez. I like endo over Klopp but with the wages of Thiago going that can get kimmich over the line then go and sign a young cb with good potential

We’ve appointed a manager that would be ideal for a mid to lower level premier league team. Looks short term to me
