Remarkable words from Suleiman, somewhere in this serial. That a fire like no other burns inside me, but I cannot show weakness. This is my unfortunate destiny. And then a suicidal silence. Wooeee❤
Hatice blaming Hurrem is easier for her than believing her brother killed him on his own account. But it is also weak. Just shoving off your problems on other people is not strength, but pathetic.
The reason is Suleiman was her sultan and then her brother. She will never cast the fault to the sultan, it's simple not possible. Like Hurrem said, it was not their place to judge the desicions of the sultan, they simply had to accept it. So, Hurrem was the easy target, the easy mode of those games and intrigues.
Obviously, even Hurrem was shocked and wasn't happy about it, she felt even sorry for Ibrahim and Suleiman. She wanted to get rid of Ibrahim because he hurt her too much and destroyed the last pieces of her childhood and innocence by killing Leo and then he became her enemy by supporting Mahidevran and Mustafa. She fought her enemies just not to lose her own life and her family, so she tried to face them with cruel face, covering her real innocent face of the honest loving girl she used to be. She tried to act like a winner but she felt lost like the others because she didn't want to fight for her life in the first place but she chose to fight to get her freedom, her life and real family back. She truly just tried to protect herself and her loved ones but Ibrahim was obsessed with his power and willing to do anything to keep it. He was cruel and didn't even feel sorry for his victims because he elevated himself to the justice and the only truth, thinking that he has right to do anything he wants. That's what killed him and Hatice was too blinded by her obsession with him that she couldn't see through him.
@@user-xe1lx1pg9q LOL. Have you watched Kosem sultan❓ Do you know how innocent was she when she arrived in the Palace and by the end of the series she had turned into a killing machine. Same is the case with Hurrem. These power games always turn people emotionless
I understand her pain, but Ibrahim was actively trying to usurp the thrown of his "best friend" and her brother!!!! Whom she is also supposed to love - so where does loyalty and honour and love lie?!
I feel bad for Hatice. Although at the same time she idealised Ibrahim and didn't see him for who he really was. It's sad that it was easier for her to make Hürrem out to be a cartoon villain than to see that Ibrahim wasn't a good person.
There was a part on this novel that shows part of the life story of Ibrahim. The characters here have goodness in their hearts, but maybe, because of the course of events in their lives (hatred, betrayals, vengeance, so much hurtful sufferings), the good hearts changed, and some innocent people suffered too. The pure "Love" and "Peace" were not learned on this period.
@@iamlei9125 perfectly said. People easily blame Hatice or Ibrahim but they don't want to try to understand them. Each and every character in this show has their reason to act like they do and do what they do - and that is what I totally love about MC, this psychological focus. I would never say Ibrahim was a bad person, he was just a human being with all its traits, positive or negative. His life story has shaped him like we all are shaped by our own stories. It's ridiculous how Hurrem's fans defend her in all her deeds but consequently refuse to see Ibrahim's perspective. It is just childish.
Hatice only saw what she wanted to see in Ibrahim. He betrayed their love by having an affair and a child with Nigar. Ibrahim also betrayed his best friend, the Sultan. Sultan Suleiman did so much for Ibrahim. They were as close as brothers. Ibrahim committed a deadly crime by letting his selfish ambitions get the better of him. He wanted to sit on that throne so badly. Still, as much as I dislike Ibrahim’s character, seeing Hatice suffer like this is unbearable.
The actress who plays Hatice is amazing in the scene where she sees his body. Finally we see the rage she held for so long, that scream of pain was just so realistic.
Suleiman is the worst brother. Even if I understand why he executed Ibrahim he should have given Hatice an explanation. Instead he remains silent when she ask him the reason and after told her to simply forget. I really hate this guy. Good to see that Sah take care of her sister despite appearances. It contrasts well the difference between Suleiman and Sah. Sah of course has faults but she never claimed to be a good sister and yet she takes care of Hatice much better in her own way. But Suleiman who claims he is a good brother for Hatice does not really care about it, instead of sending her to Beyhan as other commentators have said he sends him to Mahidevran , told her that if she don't obey he will take her chidlrens(so he uses another woman than he used to fix his faults while knowing that she can use it for try to win against Hurrem) and wants to remarry her to not deal with her anymore.

Selma (Hatice) did such a great job while facing Suleiman she is brilliant in that scene...

Ibrahim crossed the limits in soo many ways.. Suleman wrath was justified. Moreover Ibrahim also always tried to trapped Hurrem, so she must defend herself and her kids. She was totally justified in revealing the truth before Sultan.
How many times, how many times did Hurrem help Hatice! How many times did she offer friendship to lbrahim? And now here we see ungrateful Hatice blaming Hurrem in lbrahim’s mistakes. Maybe if your precious husband knew her place he wouldn’t be killed. Oh and was it Hurrem too who slept with Nigar and left her with lbrahim’s child? Lmao!
And how many times did Hatice help Hurrem? Which Royal member of the family was by Hurrem's side when she was a mere slave and everyone was against her during her early days? When she rose to power did she ever approach a good relation w her? Hatice never interfered in politics, but her husband was one of the main enemies of Hurrem, Hurrem had feuds w her husband, thus Hatice too turned into her enemy. But I agree w you that Hatice was simply delusional about Ibrahim.
How toxic. Shah tries to heal Hatice's pain by causing pain to Hurrem... And even if they succeed and Hurrem was gone - excile, executed, whatever, they really think they would be happy? :)
Sah wouldn't care. After all her mentality is like:"it's nothing personal, Hurrem. It's just good buisness" Hatice on the other hand... Perhaps this "victory" would send her completely over the edge. Either from guilt to see her brother suffering or from feeling that Ibrahim is pleased with what she did
@Leo oh I can definitely see Hatice jumping awake after seeing dreams of Hurrem. Perhaps the guilt would have ruined her completely "What have I done; What have I become;"
@@ΧΡΗΣΤΟΣΑΜΑΝΑΤΙΔΗΣ-β7μ I don't think so, Hatice wouldn't feel remorses. Shah? I don't think also, since she doesn't see Hurrem as a person. She even doesn't see her own husband as a person.
16:44 Ok relax Hatice, I know Suleiman just killed his most trusted friend and your husband, but clearly you don't know your father. Sultan Selim I killed arguably more Viziers than any other Sultan and did so for the most miniscule of reasons. There's even a curse for Viziers that's like "May you be a Vizier of Selim's". Whereas this is like the first guy Suleiman has killed.
Oh Selim Yavuz can be cruel as he execute a lot of Viziers but he brought in the Ottoman Empire at its height. Basically some people say that the son of Suleiman who ressembled the most to Selim was Bayezid for his angry and expeditious ( imagine what would happen if Bayezid become sultan XD). But he had a lot qualities for a ruler intelligence, prudence and sense of duty (he was a great worker,etc...) unlike his grandson Bayezid. But Suleiman was the craftsman of the beginning of the end of the Ottoman Empire even though the main part of his reign was the height of the Empire (signs of decline came towards the last years of his reign but it is still up for debate. Other historians said that it is rather under Murad III that there was decline). But I get your point :) P.S: I really want a serie a prequel of MC on Selim Yavuz it would be very intersting :)
@@nesiacha3659 It's interesting because I've heard more comparisons between Selim and Mustafa, although I could definitely see why you'd think Selim I and Bayezid are alike. The only difference is Bayezid doesn't get mad at every tiny thing, although they both have that temper.

Hatice does what so many people do after the death of their spouse, even today, which is to block out all of their shortcomings and where applicable, evil deeds, in favour of anything even remotely good that they may have done. She chooses to ignore the fact that he had an affair. He didn't just get drunk one stupid day with a random nobody, he cheated on his royal wife with someone way lower than her and had an ongoing affair and made a child with her. @@talhafarooq7478 girl, Hürrem was already “joking” that she’d make the sultan her slave by episode 3. She was never an innocent.
Shah knew that Hurrem isn't at fault and she still fought her only because Hatice is her sister. That's why she had to lose.
Love is blind
Hatice only saw what she wanted to see in Ibrahim. He betrayed their love by having an affair and a child with Nigar. Ibrahim also betrayed his best friend, the Sultan. Sultan Suleiman did so much for Ibrahim. They were as close as brothers. Ibrahim committed a deadly crime by letting his selfish ambitions get the better of him. He wanted to sit on that throne so badly. Still, as much as I dislike Ibrahim’s character, seeing Hatice suffer like this is unbearable.

But I get your point :)
