Airplay Display Off on MacBook - Why & How To Fix ?

This video shows why Airplay Display is Off on MacBook and how to make it on. This option only shows up when your Macbook is connected to an external display. The best is to connect to the external display and then go to the Settings and then Displays and in the AirPlay look for the option Arrangements. In that go for the Mirror Display and then you can turn it as you want. Watch the full video for more details.

mine doesnt give me the other option when connecting my ipad to my macbook, upad is m2 2020. and mackbook is 2014 i5 does that matter?

Before I could use airplay on my tv without using any wire, but now it always appears the option off :(. Idk how to change it
