Boss audio was good back in the 90s and it was made in u.s.a. i had few car audio speakers from 90s era 6,5 and 6x9 they were very good sounding actualy and those didnt have overated power ratings like new ones which ones are made in china and junk

A few days ago I remembered that video and to my surprise it still lives on TH-cam. I enter your channel and I find that you still upload videos today haha and that you are also a furry like me 😁 I send you a big greeting from Argentina and I hope you are very well. It made me happy to find that the author of that video from far away 2007 still uploads videos today and that he shares the fandom like me. Hugs bro! 😄😄😄
The classic "A friend can do it for free" speaker "cabinet". I don't know, where the Rodek stuff is from.. but here in Germany I have seen it some times. Nice video, as always!

I never was desperate enough to own any Boss Audio equipment. But I did blow a Clarion amp with a twin 10" Pioneer sub setup. I had no idea how to set up the amp properly, so I probably blew it myself. One of the MOSFETS blew. Also had a couple of MB Quart speakers that died, but rather uneventfully. Also had a few head units die.
I have a set of KLH AV4001 speakers that have built in crossovers and also a Cerwin Vega VS-120 that i got with some stereo equipment. they are some pretty good speakers
Have to ask... you ever gonna bring back the legendary Peavey CS800 that you used to do the blowouts with? Still just doesn't feel the same without it 😅
I you wanna make them coils smoke add a highpass filter around 50hz. This way the sub doesn't bottom out and rip itself apart. Then you can really turn on the heat.
For sure if used correctly they can perform well :D Looks like that coil could have kept it up if the x-max limitation of the cone didn't make it bottom out so hard, other than that the only thing was the weak surround rubber however this is a common thing to see around my area Northern Canada the cold cracks the surrounds

i daily drive the 12" version of that sub 1600 watt peak bigger magnet bigger sub so this video really interested me lol
