X230 were the last Logitech Speakers I ever bought. They live in the company workshop now eating dust. Still going strong.
@@Neojhun both of my x540 wired remotes failed but the half exploded 530’s (surround version of 230) are still going.
yeah I had those I mean I still have them just not in their original shape because I have put the woofer and one of the satellites in the cheap bookshelf speaker cabinet the other satellite plugs in via standard wire terminals I have put on the back of the box. I have accidentally shorted the amp several times due to lack of care and it works just fine, these things are shitty but tough.
I still remember when he did the old Logitech hate video and when he destroyed those square woofer
Maybe they were good back in the day mine lasted almost 10 years. Is there a good set for around $100? Regardless of brand?
What I have learned form this video: Logitech speaker systems are Coke-proof, but not Diet Pepsi-proof, salt-proof, axe-proof, or hammer-proof. Got it!
Also, that Logitech may make some quality in their premium lines, like the MX master series mice and some of the high-end Z surround systems....but the cheap stuff? oh boy does it redefine the term cheap XD

Hey hey, very custom actually, down to space carved in that fit my glasses and such, my friend is making me a new full suit right now that will involve me making a duct tape moulding of my body for a pattern, what I have now is called a partial suit that is hands, feet, tail, and the head - the new full one will have that naked look lol..
Only thing is I've spent over 600 cad on fake fur for the new costume now :I and much more being spent on the hours of labor the maker is going through, partial costumes can be commissioned for a little cheaper but still end up close to 700US at the low end, building your own is super hard but can be done, it is a pretty crazy expensive thing to get into though If you get someone experienced to make it

what do you think about JVCs gigatube line? They are really hard to find now lmao. I like how they sound though. I have the mx-gt80s. If you have any it would be cool to see what they look like inside. don't smash it though lmao they are very rare to find now. I am so glad I was able to grab a pair with the original amp
I have a pair, Never tried them yet they have been in the destruction stash for a couple years - I do plan on blowing them up one day

Like when the signal backfired into the amp at 23:22, I was wondering. What would happen if you drove loud music into electronic boards like that? I wanna see you try that!

For some reason I just don’t like speakers that come with built-in amps or that are made specially for computers. My “hi-fi” setup consists of 2011 iMac speakers connected to a 2x40 watt 4-ohm transistor amp. They have an irregular resistance, something like 10 ohms. I suggest you get some and blow them. They sound pretty good and I’d like to see what kills them.

nearly all logitech speakers are shit except the z533, that one is okay
Z5500 is better, the thx certified is cool but the mids have weird peaks and the bass is far too loud on the z5500. But it sounds far better then the z533

You should try to blow a crappy active sub with its own plate amp some time. Worked for me. It produced way more smoke than overpowering it to much

The z623 would have been a good one for this video, It's got a pretty tough woofer and actually sounds decent for a logitech system
It's the best woofer, i wanna know what he can say about z623 or z906, i didn't saw anything at that price better and also high quality not just power
Its just a shame that the z623's amplifier is bullshit and it can't handle any volume above 35%. If I had the money, I'd definitely shove the sub in a better box, and give the danm things a reliable amp! I have seen a few blowouts of the z623 sub... and they do offer a bit of smoke!
