I live in the lakes, was born here. And always wanted to do this. I have been camping in all kinds of places for years (abandoned buildings, forests ect.) And I finally did my first wild camp up Skiddaw last week. It was the most amazing feeling out of any trip! Since finding this channel and seeing you in my home basically has given me the need to get out more! Thankyou!
Great to see you out again Matt with poppy in tow. You seem to have a knack for picking all the best spots. The lakes are always an awe inspiring place to visit. Our little part of the country where nature still has a powerful command. Thanks for bring us along on your adventure. All the best Andy
Amazing trip and the great time in this barren, ravaged, desolate place. Imagine how it could look like if it had a tad more forests - vibing with wildlife.
I've been watching your channel for some time; your productions have progressively gotten better with each episode. All of your hard work and study have really paid off, exhibited here. Your camera work and content organization has developed into something quite exceptional. Well done brother.
Can see a lot of work went into that video Matt…. Great looking camp!! What a spot dude!!! Good to see poppy too. Sausage and mash mate 🤤. Thanks as always brother 👊👊
Great campsite Matt but shame the wind picked up and spoilt it. Glad to see our favorite 4 leged friend back on the trail with you. Thanks for the hike. Bushyboy Oz.
Thanks Matt and Poppy. good video lovely shots you took, It looked a bit cold and windy was the beer good thought I saw one. gas cooker next time.. Cheers.
Great trip this Matt - I don't get the time to stop by all the great videos on here but managed this one tonight. The scenery was as you say, epic - and the mighty landscape captured really well. Top food there, were the spuds smash ? I need to cook something better when next out. Very Erik Normark with the matches and Trangia burner - happy days mate.
Nice to see someone still useing the trangia Tip for lighting the Trangia stove roll a little bit of toilet role and drop it into the meths and light that also I use some tin foil as wind brake and in really cold weather I keep my trangia in my pocket lights up loads easier love your videos 👌😎
I noticed you struggling to light the stove, I always use a flint and steel now. As matches and lighters can't be relied on. Good video though.i need to get out but work is getting in the way. Looking forward to seeing the next one.
beautiful tent n the scenery is beautiful so solemn as if noiseis prohibited by the place i wondering whey campers never stay long in one place though the scenery is beautiful philippines
Great to see the hubba hubba being used in these sort of conditions, presume it is still your tent of choice as it’s going to be my new tent, lightweight etc… new subscriber to your channel ❤
Class mat / poppy ...love the tent the msr hubba i think, a great video again appreciate it views second to none and the sausage & mash was right up my street all the best marra's stay safe 😃👌🏕⛰
Hi Matt, another great vid, you have a very relaxed presentation combined with your camera skills brings an all round vid of your adventures and scenery. thank you, stay safe , Jack. PS love to Poppy
Great video Matt, good to see you and poppy back out, lake district, fabulous location mate, really looked amazing, brilliant filming well done 👍 best wishes Matt
Great stuff i especially love your vid cause you used the spirit stove no one on you tube seems not to use it and i bought one last year similar to yours and planning to use it for the first time i think there great so ya keep up the great upload vids and thx again
First class video again Matt, fantastic location as well. My pal and I had a similar location on Saturday night, Glencoe in similar conditions, my tent nearly took off when dismantling it the following morning but we got there in the end. Thanks again for sharing ATB
Matt, good to see you back and great video, you looked liked you enjoyed it. Could you do a review on your boots? I am in the market for a new pair and have heard good things about Vivo. You seem to hammer yours so I would really respect your opinion. Keep the content coming! 👍👍👍
Stunning place and scenery matt 👌 you got some fantastic footage with the drone 👍 good call on changing your pitch ⛺️ otherwise that wind chill would have increased a lot 🌬🌬 loved it matt & poppy had a blast by the look of her 🐾🐾🐾 you'll be back there again I'm sure 👏👏👌
Very impressive camping video presentation. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful camping site. Hi..new friend love outdoors here, I just subscribe and like 👍 your nice video. Thank you for sharing your wonderful camping adventures my friend, stay safe and healthy always 🤝 👍 😊
I've just come across this video so i've subscribed. I enjoyed it a lot. I quite like your stove, i'm used to seeing the other kind in a canister or tin with a nozzle you turn? i'm a complete beginner at all this sorry, i just enjoy watching these kinds of videos. But it was interesting to see a different way to cook and how you lit it. Really lovely dog as well and brilliant views, thanks for sharing it.
Love using spirit burners but on cold mornings (or windy) I ignite a ring of rubber inner tube which is kept around my BIC lighter. Can’t believe Englands highest mountain is only 978m, it’s shorter than my local Pirongia.
What a place to hang out Matt, absolutely stunning. That was a proper wilderness camp mate, you must have felt so remotely placed pal. What a night you must have heard and felt such wild weather. The match after match when lighting the Trangia was funny but frustrating to you i bet. Loved it mate.
Yes mate! I was just wondering when you were going to drop another video. The wait was definitely worth it. You caught some stunning views. It also looked a-bit chilly in the morning haha
I'm very familiar with the Lake District but this video brought another perspective for me. It kind of looked like North America or Canada (in a good way, of course!) Excellent work Matt and thoroughly enjoyed it 👍
Great to see you and Poppy back at it again Matt. What a beautiful part of the world. Are there any critters there that you have to mind your food bag for? Hey! I was wondering if you had ever heard of the UK bushtuber wildbeare? She’s really cool and knows her bushcraft/wild campin stuff. Maybe a collab sometime? 🙂 Anyway, thank you for all your hard work on these creations!! Take care. NQU

Fantastic. Thank you for making this!
Poppy must be so confused with the walking in circles to get the action shots, haha.
You'd need to walk in circles in a tiny area like the Lake District just to convince yourself that you're in wilderness!
Loved this, awesome views, great tent, chilled and a dog!
Great to see you and poppy out Matt 👍 lovely spot stunning views 👌🏕️
beautiful tent n the scenery is beautiful so solemn as if noiseis prohibited by the place i wondering whey campers never stay long in one place though the scenery is beautiful philippines

Amazing scenery on this one Matt. Envious of some of these locations you have the opportunity to overnight in. 👍

Nice vid Matt, one of my local spots. Looked cold. Nice to see the dry bracken as its been dark and wet most of this winter. ATB mate G
