Detaching from the outcome allows you to stay in the moment. Releasing the desire to control the experience and let it happen naturally/effortlessly. Let people be who they are. Good video.

Man, hands down this is the best video you’ve made! At 52 and divorced twice, 5 years ago I hit my bottom. After waking up and realizing my best days were ahead of me, I refocused on my business, went on about 100 dates to get back in the game for practice. 8 months ago the cosmic forces randomly placed the most beautiful, spirit minded woman on my path, a cataclysmic force. We clicked within 5 min like old souls. A connection i’ve never experienced. I put all your words of wisdom to use, planted the seed of knowledge with her and it has blossomed into an intoxicating friendship/ no label bf/gf, soulmate relationship. After 3 months of building sexual tension it finally happened and was worth it. We see each other about once a week and live in the moment. Looking back I feel all those heartaches and mistakes have led me right where I need to be. Ive found my purpose just like you and your coaching, and live with passion. If you cant love yourself, how are you suppose to love someone else. Crave affection not attention. One’s energy will attract who you are.

It's really amazing how the principals he teaches about dating and relationships are also principals that guide success in life.
For example, I started standing up more for myself. Wether it would be playful teasing when a girl would try to test my patience to being confident (but respectful) with those that I don't agree with. I never was a confrontational guy. But, the more I look back in my past, I realize, I let bad things happen or let people use or walk over me bc I would allow them to.
Suddenly, I notice people want to be around me. Good people want to be around me. And, I owe it to you Corey. Thank you.

Corey you are a great spiritual teacher. You came in the perfect time in my life (enough was enough for me and I had to change things for good and I started seeking the answers.)
I love how grounded and relatable you are with your insights, but they are still profound nonetheless.
You talk about balanced inaction, and it's helped me so much (I've only recently got your audiobook but my life has changed drastically since then.)
All in all, coming from the place of "not needing" is how we attract.
Thanks a ton for your work!

Yep - Corey describes PRECISELY the way I met my lil' honey, who has become the most important woman in my dating history. Just like he says in the video, I was in a period of getting out there to apply what I was learning from Corey / interacting with new women / asking women out... and my skills were improving from that... but eventually meeting my girl during that period did not happen from my approaches or anything; it happened unexpectedly, as an out-of-nowhere encounter on the steps of the neighborhood restaurant across from my apartment building.

When I was 20 I had been spending a lot of time asking for numbers and trying to set dates with girls. I had gotten some numbers but things seemed to just be falling though and it got exhausting. I kind of told my self I was going to take a break. I was living with my parents and was in my room playing video games with my friends… which I rarely do. My sister came home with a friend and they walked by my room. I remember glancing up at them and her friend just stood in the door way for a few seconds and stared at me and smiled a little, than walked away. My jaw dropped and I thought to my self “what just happened” we all ended up hanging out and getting ice cream I got her number and ended up dating her for 2 years…

I love watching these videos but the more I learn the more I’m thinking that the main aim and direction should be to connect with your higher self then everything will take care of itself. Meditation and law of attraction. Like Albert Einstein said “give me the thoughts of god, the rest are details”. Corey talks on details but the thoughts of god/universe/higher self etc... can come through any of us at any time and our life takes on a deeper meaning.

this is crazy but I watch this video like 3 days ago and then I read this article from the Dallas newspaper about the new Baylor football coach Matt Rhule.
Football coaches put in incredible hours - but this spring, Rhule still found time to coach his 11-year-old son’s baseball team. “I spend all my time coaching 125 other guys,” Rhule told the Philadelphia Inquirer. “Why not spend some more time with [my son]? … I did it to try to be a good father, but I’m having way more fun than I ever thought. … Whenever I see youth coaches work with my son, whether it’s swimming or karate or whatever, I’m always amazed at the patience. It’s invigorating the way they slowly teach and teach kids, step-by-step-by-step, and guide them and help them get to a place. There’s a big difference between trying and doing your best, even on a smaller level. What we’ve tried to do with these kids is tell them not to worry about the result. Focus on how you play, how you practice. So they come out and play hard. And if they lose they come right back. They’re resilient.

I discovered the concept of twin flames only after so many dizzying unexplainable synchronicities that continue to point me back to a man (that I loved dearly) that I was not mature (experienced with romantic relationships) enough to express appreciation for (I felt it but didn’t communicate it effectively) left me. To be clear, I use the term, “twin flame” only because there is so much on the internet that “defines” what twin flames experience, with my exact experiences (conceptually) ... some truly crazy sounding stuff like telepathic communication, astral “light” sexual experiences, dreams with clear messages, meaningful songs and numbers, etc. ... things I used to hear and assume that those talking about it were off their rockers ... and then it happened to me. It’s not things like my cousin has the same birthday as his half-sister ... they are real, concrete, crazy coincidences that keep on coming. I am not saying that I do or do not believe any or all of the twin flame concept. That’s a personal topic and I’m not going there. But ... the spiritual experiences I’ve had since he left have changed me at my core. The heartbreak opened my eyes to the ugliness I carried with me for so long, even after 20 years of therapy, and it gave me the opportunity to let those parts of myself “die” as suggested in the quote you read (twice) ... basically my ego vanished.
The book, “The Power of Now,” yoga, meditation, the concepts of self-love, fear, feeling “not good enough,” doubting the connection because it’s too good to be true, etc. all play a huge role in our relationship and the person I am (still) becoming as a result of this man whom I love unconditionally until the end of time and beyond.
My question is this: when a man walks away because he didn’t feel valued or respected (there was projection/mirroring involved so we were both equally responsible) is it ever possible for him to believe that the woman who didn’t value him has truly changed, and that it was his love that changed her? I have changed but the depth of the changes in me is so profound that it almost seem impossible that anyone could change like I have in two years, even to me, but it IS real and I have.
And if so, what would be your advice to me on creating the opportunities to show him how he has affected me without chasing him (is it possible to “create” opportunities or is it a matter of simply having faith that if it is meant to be - as the synchronicities suggest - that it will happen on it’s own when the timing is right?)... and your advice to this man as far as whether or not a lifetime of happiness is possible now, 2 years after the breakup that broke open my heart and allowed me to heal years of residual family issues (not only for me but for my family too ... similar to the way you described your relationship with your father ... because I filled in the gaps.) I am 46, never married, both parents still living. He is 44, divorced, with 2 sons (20 and 13 yrs), both of his parents have passed.
We had a strong spiritual connection, but neither of us even knew what that meant, an irony that sucks beyond words.

In general the person is correct that we do create “most” of our luck. BUT, people do lose the biggest challenging situations and sometimes bad things happen. Period. Eventually yes, our decision on how we react is ours. Believing in luck or coincidences is not an excuse not to act. It can fall into a trap if you stay in it. Self-compassion and self-pity are two different concepts.

Just wondering why at 47 never settled down with one person. This is a serious question. Is it a choice to date so many women and “hook up”? Also don’t you ever want to stay with one person and just know you are loved by that one person. Also why do your relationships all end? Do you have patience and put any work into the relationships? #Coachcoreywayne I have read the book 19 times. I spent a few months in jail so it was quite simple. And thanks to Corey Wayne's insight. I helped some suicidal guys in jail worried about their gfs. But, I still have some minor knowledge gaps. My father was killed by a drunk driver a month ago. And an ex messaged me from a year ago wanting to go to the funeral she acted playful about it. So i waited til the night before to give her the time and address. She showed up on time complemented my speech and took off as soon as it ended. I'm confused should I call her up and set another date? Any of my brothers on this page can help me out :)

I Gave a call back because I didn't know the number and found through her answering machine that it was her work cell. Didn't try calling anymore to not give a needy vibe. Should I just wait and see if she tries to contact me again? It's been two months since I applied the no contact rule...

What advice would you have for attracting women in more conservative societies? I've traveled to the US and Greece and women there tend to be much more responsive to advances...and the techniques in your book (such as doing 20 percent of the talking on the first date, not sending messages until she first does it etc) work much more better than in my shitty country, where women always say that the man must make the first move...and then start almost every other interaction. I've had girls say to me: "why don't you talk to me"...but they don't start the conversation themselves...they just accuse me of passive behaviour. BTW..it doesn't help that the media...foreign and local men all tell the women from my country that they are abso-fucking-lutely gorgeous (even though i've seen and interacted with much more hotter and open-minded in other countries). So..my question is: What do you do in these types of situations...where the type of women you like are bombarded with praises from everywhere..making them extremely arrogant and totally incapable of starting an interaction because of the customs?
(sorry for the long rant haha)

Need help with something Corey and Followers. Ex and I broke up in early October. I essentially ended it because I was tired of flakey behavior. Wished her the best and walked away. Now on three separate occasions she has hinted or suggested we get together (I went strict no contact). The first she never made a plan and I ignored it. The next time she and her daughter wanted to come over but I suggested we wait until it could be the two of us. Third time she asked what I was doing Saturday, I responded with hanging out with you, she had a death in the family and canceled. Last week she wants to bring me my key that I didn't ask for back. I ignore for two days and then said run it over if she wants but I don't need it. She comes over for literally 3 minutes to give it to me where I made fun of her for excuses to check-in on me. She laughed and texted me after that it wasn't an excuse. No contact since then. Been a week. Continue no contact or what the hell is this girl doing?

So my gf of 1 year is starting to back off. It feels like she does not want me around her anymore. I found Coach Corey and realized i pursued her way to much - now i am only texting her to get together (we live in different towns). Tomorrow she has her birthday and i am not realy sure what to do :D I mean its her birthday so i definitly have to text her but what should i write to not sound needy. Just a plain "Hey, happy birthday!" ?

Shaun Max Yeah - she is a student and i am learning in a brewery. Different towns sadly.
I get your point but - man its her birthday
i am not doing shit for her anywhere anymore for weeks now. Sometimes she gets upset about that and sometimes she does not even care. she is like a bouncing ball

She just recently told me when we were out to party (She drank a lot) She is not sure if our relationship is worth fighting for anymore. So I quess that is some kind of reaching out and saying "get your shit together or i dont want to infest time into us anymore" am i right? So I am not sure if ignoring her on her birthday would be right

So my ex bf and I started talking in October of last year but I had broke up with him in April of this year because he kept flaking alot and kept disappearing for weeks on end.He even kept making up excuses for not seeing me or going out with me alot so thats when I told him I can't talk to him no more so I ended things. Now last month he had seen me at on campus. He had asked me for my number so we can be friends with one another I was like ok cool.so now yesterday his gf called my phone saying don't call or text my man phone no more and this his gf etc.I told her we are just friends chill out we don't even text or call each other like that. She was cussing and getting all loud and hanging up the phone in my ear she called me over 20 times cussing.I just hang up everytime she called she was being childish. Then thats when he called me from some other phone he said we can't talk no more I have a gf now.I was like ok why you didn't just say that from the beginning instead of having your gf calling my phone left to right. That when his girl got back on the phone cussing and hanging up in my ear again.I didn't call back or nothing. What should I do about this situation?

Absolutely nothing, this guy can’t even manage his gf much less a friend. And if he just wanted to be friends he should’ve said that from the start or when y’all were talking. It sounded like he had Intentions with you while he was in a relationship. A person isn’t going to ask or give out a number unless they are interested. And this guy already had a gf. It’s sounds like his gf did you a favor from entering drama

Have watched quite a few of these videos Coach Corey & you always say not to be friends after a breakup, because you are not interested in a platonic relationship.
Now in this video you say how you stayed friends with women you have dated…..Very confusing to say the least.

Your videos are great been following since 2015 went on a date with a nice beautiful BEAUTIFUL woman, near the end she was curious about a vacation I took and as I showed the photos she seen a “tit” picture one single photo and blew it. Two years later we cross again. She now works with me, we did secret Santa at work and I drew her name ....is this serendipity or am I just reading too much into it .

Great video as always from Corey but I don't buy into this "everything happens for a reason" bullshit. It's just an emotional comfort blanket we use when bad things happen to us, to make it seem like our lives have some higher purpose, or that something or someone is magically orchestrating events in the universe for our own personal benefit. Bullshit. It's a childish and lazy way to make sense of a very complex world filled with unpredictable events and the complexity of human behaviour and interactions. Random things happen, and you just take whatever meaning you want out of it.
