I’ve been following you Brian for at 4 years and what We Viewers are about to Witness in the coming weeks is the Reason why I Fell in Love with your content. Hot Damn! Must See Content 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
I don’t think this has the valley plate coolant leak issue like the ISF has but you are correct Brian I have an ISF and there’s just something about these Lexus cars…
This is exciting ! I just discovered your channel Brian. I had a Honda CRV for 25 years and had to retire it, bought another Honda, so then, for the first time in my life I started researching car products, then found you just a few days ago. Oh, and I just ordered the Ethos brand D3fy product you tested in one of your videos. Sooooo, I am super grateful for your videos and am really looking forward to the LX 470 restoration process !!!!
U can't go wrong with that Lexus 470. There is a higher demand for these older vehicles, so whether you flip it and make a profit or keep It's going to serve you well, either way. Shop manager continues to be impressed!! 🐕 👍🏻👍🏻
Good am Brian, I think that your new endeavour will be great, truly epic as you show us the total reconditioning process, real world stuff. Looking forward....
Last Winter my 2005 RL had a Cracked Radiator so I didn’t get to drive it. I just got out of storage for this Winter. The repair and labor was $1300, ouch! 20 years ago these Luxury Cars were amazing. To this day I still love this AWD beauty 👌
Looks like a great vehicle!!! Looking forward to see all the things you will fo to it!! When you flip it someone will be getting a great deal!! Thanks Brian!!
Wow. I'm excited just watching. Cool. I got my pad and paper ready for notes. I'm sure some of the episodes will be going into my video library. I have some of your other videos in there already. I'm itching for you to get started. Sissy might have a hard time getting up on the backseat.
I can’t wait to see how this one will look when it’s all done. Love Lexus and Toyotas. I’m really glad you picked this one up. Looking forward to the upcoming videos!
@@kimnewling5728yes Kim, but I don't like doing the ones with pet hair or cigarette/cigar smoke because I am allergic to both. I have to wear my hazmat suit and mask besides the normal gloves and eyeglasses for it.😜
In that generation Lexus seemed to have some weird rim size choices. I had an ES300 it was a great car. But 16 inch wheels were a pain to get nice shoes for.
Are you going to sell vehicles through CoPart? - I love that Lexus - - LS430, LX470, Land Crusiers, etc. Be fun to watch you detail this project - thx for sharing ( yes - long time viewer also )
Lots to do do recondition this LX 470.....But I think we can make huge improvements! :)
The Car Care Nut's AMD would be proud of your Lexus purchase.
I found him....watching now.
Yes - another YT channel worth a peek - Been following him for a long time also

You can do huge improvements definitely 💎It’s going to make for great content Brian and I will be watching ✊👑
At least the dashboard isn't cracked....a common problem with those kept in the southwest.
Fortunately not....seems to be in good shape.
Love it, great find!!
I'm interested in how the hood will turn out and all the paint work 👍👍, the next few installments should be interesting

We will test plenty of chemicals ant tools on them. That is the plan. Stay tuned! :)
Brian Chicago and Michigan roads are horrendous as well😡
Wisconsin is bad, too.
@ yeah the Midwest and East Coast are in for some treacherous 3 days to come 😡. The Alberta Canada CLIPPER 😱
Yet taxes rise each year.....
@@apexdetail85 yes it’s a pain in the ass😡
If you do decide to keep it. I highly recommend amsoil full synthetics for the engine trann, axel & transfer case.
Noted. :)

You can update the head unit for about 5 to 6 hundred
I will look into it.
@ you will definitely get your money back for it and also modernize it making much more attractable when you sell it.

19s or 20s would look pretty good. But I guess 18s are best off road.🤔
Which auction did you get that from again I missed it in the first video

Sir! The Nintendo came out in 1985. 🤓
😂😂😂👍
Looks like the wheel center caps are all missing.
I found some. $58 for all 4.
That is real wood veneers in LX my friend….nothing fake there
It looks like a pattern but just a coincidence.
I’m really looking forward to the progress of this one. Curious if it’ll convert your love of sport cars to a love of large/luxury SUV.
The shop manager sure loves them. :)
