    I love this! I’m a pescatarian and really enjoy seeing what others who eat similarly think of to eat! Very inspiring!

    So excited to have found you!!
    Anti inflammatory diet is what I’m looking for. The doctor said the best plan is Mediterranean. So excited! Your recipes look fabulous!

    I think a Pescatarian diet is probably the best diet for an omnivore. The more I think about it I should eat less meat and much more veggies and plant foods. Also I need to cut out the sugars and processed meat.

    I eat exactly that breakfast every day, frozen berries and everything. I thought I had invented it! 😂 I live in Greece and we get fermented yoghurt (the one with the skin) from goat or sheep. It’s really good and has extra probiotics in the skin. Love your channel! X

    I am currently on a mediteranean diet thru green chef, i avoid beef, eat "meat free" once a week, fish 1-2 times. my problem is I am craving sweets and snacking. I'm type 2, high blood pressure and chlorestoral. I'm newly diagnosed so still learning. really love the mediterranean diet so far but I really want to lose weight.

    Hey Jordan i love the videos and how you keep things simple :) Thank you for all these great tips, it helps get me out of food ruts! Btw would you talk about eggs in a video? I always feel like im trying not to overdo say max 1/2 a dozen in a week (i heard somewhere that for cholesterol the egg intake should be limited) but they are so good for helping to stay full up and obvs. for the protein. Id have a really similar weekly fish intake to you.

      Hi Holly! I talk a little more about eggs in my egg recipe video: th-cam.com/video/qlNlzBlwXDo/w-d-xo.html
      And here's a link to a research article summary detailing how moderate egg consumption doesn't appear to be associated with higher heart disease risk as previously thought :) www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2020/03/200305002842.htm

    That breakfast has nothing to do with the Mediterranean. It may be healthy but its not from the Mediterranean. We take coffee, drink milk we eat some cheese maybe a croissant and an egg or two. Toasts with butter, jam and honey. In some regions they may eat a salad + egg + coffee...south of the Mediterranean they take coffee + eggs + something they call chamiya (it looks like a condensed sweet barr of crushed seeds with almond that we cut in thin slices)...

      I live in a traditional Greek village and children tend to have milk but many adults have a local yoghurt. The ingredients are Mediterranean although I agree first thing many people just have coffee.

    • @cf-ry1zo

    Can you have gluten on a Mediterranean diet or is it better to stay away from gluten?

    • @jordanwaddell
      @jordanwaddell  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Mediterranean Diet doesn't exclude gluten! :) If you find gluten causes symptoms for you, totally okay to exclude it and use gluten free grains.
