Installed mine on Friday. Super easy. I'm a DIY novice. Only thing I learned is don't trust a rinky-dink hacksaw make sure it is larger and let the weight of the hacksaw do the work. My install is clean and tidy! Thank you!

Looking at the last section of the video re the last fitting of the metal tidy section it appears to have a huge gap that is not evident on my 796.
was this just a fitment 'blue' or is this how it will look ??
I see at the very end the guy puts his hand over the section I'm talking about.

I have a 2012 1100 evo. I feel a little nervous cutting the tail. No prior experience cutting/sawing anything.

Its pretty easy. just use a sharp saw. Also its just the old plastic fender you cut. Not the bike.
