It’s available in three colors, gunmetal, silver and white. You saw how this unit did on slicing, shredding and chopping. As long as you follow the recommended maximum amounts for chopping, you’ll get a good result. I’m sure many of you will want to see how this unit does on dough will put up another video on making dough with this food processor, so subscribe to stay tuned for that. As always, I hope you enjoyed this review, if you did give it a thumbs up. I’ll see you next time. Thanks for watching :)

    Mine just arrived today and I don't like to read manuals very much so here I am. Your video taught me much more than the manual has. Thank you so much!

    So *clear* and easy. I also appreciated the anomalies, like when the processor left a large piece, or the vegetable needed to be cut further to fit in the chute. When using a new piece of machinery, it's always helpful to know what is normal and what is not. This is one of the best how-to videos I have ever watched on TH-cam.

    Thank you. I was having a hard time locking the cover on the work bowl until I watched your video. I’m the type that gets more out of watching how to do something rather than reading the instructions. I was getting ready to return it until you showed how to do it correctly. You explain everything so well.
    I just made pesto. My next thing will be using the slicer. Thanks again for having this video.

    Marvelous video !!! I am so glad I found your video. I purchased the Elemental Cuisinart Food Processor last year and have been stressing as to how to use it this Thanksgiving ! I had all the parts sitting out on my kitchen table...looked on You Tube for the how-to video and found an agonizingly long video put out by Cuisinart ! I couldn't last through 5 minutes ! So...I got the booklet and started reading..still confused. Today, I found this video ! What a Godsend !! I 'got it' after the first minute ! Thank you, thank you !!!!

    Yesss totally EPIC and informational video👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🤗.
    I am so happy I didn’t toss my processor out almost two years ago, I couldn’t figure out why it was not working. This is why I put it away till I was ready to try again before letting it go🤗. Your video popped up for me when I put in the name of appliance how too, while watching I went down stairs to my kitchen and followed your dimonstration, and Surprisingly I clapped my hands 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾In nothing but joy and smiles.
    Thank you 🙏🏾 soooo much for sharing 🥰, and so will I if anyone shall ask me because of your video I will share gracefully in love 🥰. Thank you again🤗.

    I've had this Cuisinart FP in grey/silver for over 5 yrs now with normal use. Holidays it usually sees nonstop use. Any how I think I paid about $90 at the time from Macy's, it was on sale. I didn't know boo about food processors but quickly used it for hundreds of recipes. Still using it today. I'm making cauliflower rice for shrimp masala. I'll be using it tomorrow for avocado pesto sauce on zucchini noodles.
    I also splurged back then for the Kitchenaid mixer (Artisan 5qt) and over the years bought a couple attachments (love the spiralizer). With these two workhorses one can eat so healthy
    all the time. My only gripe about this wonderful food processor is I wish I had the option to buy a work bowl in glass (like blenders) the plastic handle feels flimsy sometimes esp after so many years of use. But its the best $90 bucks I spent that year.

    I had one of these food processors for years, and I used it almost every day. I eventually had to replace one of the blades, and then at the very last before she gave up the ghost I had to replace the lid. But I did eventually ruin the shaft that comes from the motor
    that the receptacle sits on. Now I’m looking for another one. But I think I’m going for the wide-open feeder shoot this time. Nice video.

    This was an EXCELLENT review video. It's better than what the manufacturer does! Thank you so much. I just bought the Kitchenaid 7-cup food processor and it shakes when you use it which is clearly not good. Thinking of getting this 8-cup one you reviewed and I think you just made up my mind :) thank you!!

    • @educationalvideos4151
      @educationalvideos4151 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      My 8-cup Cuisinart shakes. The spindle for the blade/attachments is slightly off-center, which is not obvious at first, but I can determine this by pushing the spindle in various directions to see that its range of play is not centered. So when it runs in continuous mode (low/high, not pulsed) the whole unit shakes a bit. I inspected others in the store and they seem the same (could not power them on, but they had the same angling of the spindle), so it might be by design, a way to mix more evenly. Not sure.
      Edit: If my description was confusing I'll put it this way: the spindle, the thing sticking up out of the motor that you put the blade on, is not perfectly perpendicular to the base. So when it spins this causes some wobble. It's not too severe though, and might be by design.

I'm soooo disappointed and don't know what to buy next! I'm thinking it was because the metal disc is too thin (made in China?) and not nearly as solid as my old 11 cup Cuisinart disc.

    • @AnnLeiSoCal
      @AnnLeiSoCal 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It's not locking right. Before you put on the working bowl check the middle pc and make sure it is on correctly (dark grey). Then place your working bowl on and lock. Then put your choppin/mixing blade on and gentle push down to make sure it did not get caught on the inner tube rim of the work bowl. Once that is on, you should be able to place lid on and lock. Hope this helps. There is a learning curve as with all kitchen appliances. Good luck.
