Thanks Martin I followed your advice sowed mine in Feb 24 in my unheated greenhouse. They were ok but didn’t look great … BUT once planted out in April they started growing… they are now ( July ) in full bloom … I’m sharing with lots pals on our allotment 😊
Hello Martin, thanks for your videos. Re sowing sweet peas, I've grown them for 45 years. I just put them in the pot,( no presoaking or scraping), water them in well , and usually have 100% germination. Why make work for yourself when you don't need to? Best wishes
No problems at all as gardeners we all do things that work for us might not work for someone else, doesn’t mean that it’s the wrong way. If it work for you that’s all that matters!! Happy growing let’s hope for a good year growing for 2023

Some good tips there about to do mine. I do mine in root training pots to help get a good root growth going down strong to start with.

I sowed mine about 3 weeks ago pretty much the same way and there in the pop up greenhouse.
