    If making at home don’t have open fire like stove will pan searing be too slow to evenly char without cooking the inside?

      sorry for late reply. Even in a pot, baking only the surface over high heat makes it delicious :)

      Thank you for your comment. There are indeed many varieties of sesame dressing, aren't there? I personally like the creamy type made with sesame paste, but I don't have my own original recipe. I'll try to develop a good recipe and give it a try sometime soon.

      Yes sake is Japanese rice wine. If you can't get it, try using red wine instead. It tastes a little different, but I think it's delicious. :)
