I just love it that ordinary Australians own and keep their Matildas and other tanks running.

For a second I thought that white 4x4 was in big trouble.

Makes you realize what a monster that cute Matilda is. What a great machine.

I have to admit that my inner child got excited when I saw the SUV, thinking it was about to get run over. Great video nevertheless, thanks for sharing.

This is like a snapshot of history it's fascinating to see something like how you would actually see it during the war.

Quite sprightly for an 80-year-old. That is some of the smoothest driving of a military tracked vehicle by a private owner that I have seen on TH-cam , perhaps he has some armour or cavalry background?

When the driver came close enough to see his face clearly, surrounded by tons of steel armour, i got some very strong Space Marine vibes.

As they rounded the tree, for a second the driver looked directly into my soul.

Cracking bid. Gives a real sense of what it would be like to be the opposing side. My favourite tank.

This video gives an idea of the noise and power of what I thought was a small tank but it’s actually quite a size. A unit of the SS Totenkopf division faced a number of these in France in 1940. When they engaged them, the shells of their anti tank guns simply bounced off the Matildas! The SS panicked and abandoned their positions as the tanks simply rolled through them.

First time I've seen a Matilda under power - I'm impresed by the speed! Great little clip.

As a WoT player. The Matilda is one of the most savage heavy tanks in the game. Despite its small size, that thing just refuses to die at times.

As an Aussie, I had no idea that the general public could own tanks. Cool.
