He's not cocky, he's confident. And I like that.
You're a reporter at Pax. You interview lots of people. You decide to interview someone doing a great Joker Cosplay. This guy agrees and answers all your questions.
He then hijacks your interview, including physically taking your microphone (probably worth a few hundred dollars) and starts asking YOU questions. You try to politely tell him you're not comfortable with him doing that. He continues anyway, and tries to play it off like he's trying to get YOU to plug the channel that your viewer would already be on.
He's a dick.
@@thegiant17 he wasn't doing anything that would damage the mic from what we see. the reporter simply isn't used to it so he comes off a bit awkward as it puts the whole dynamic on its head but what else would you expect from a performer dressed as the Joker! I see it as a bit of harmless fun, why the need to be so serious :))

The way he speaks and carries himself, his actual mannerisms, is what I imagine a real life Joker would be like. I don’t see the Joker as this over the top psychopath but rather someone who’s extremely intelligent, methodical, weirdly confident and is able to influence people with this awkward comfort. Notice how the interviewer said he wasn’t comfortable being interviewed, yet continued to answer questions and even opened up some.
That's an excellent summary. I also think that his sense of humor would be more sarcastic and intellectual, and not "I LOVE GUNS AND MURDER HAHAHA" like in many adaptations of the character.
After all, the joker is a clown (somebody is weird and awkward, but we put our trust in him anyways).
A charismatic, intelligent Joker with a lot of chutzpah is something sorely missing in the adaptations xD

I'd say so far only 1 was bad, the rest were either brilliant (Heath Ledger, Joaquin Phoenix) or very good (Nick Romero, Jack Nicholson) but each one made the character their own instead of being 100% accurate

Nah, if you watch the Batman Chronicles here on TH-cam, you'll find that his Joker is more subtle and this actually makes his performance more powerful. I like Hamil's Joker, but his voice would be too over the top for the way Misiano portrays him.

Not only is Anthony Misiano an incredible Joker visually, but he's one of my favorite depictions of Joker EVER, even if I've only seen him in those three Batman short films (The Batman Chronicles). For me, he's up there with Mark Hamill, Heath Ledger, and Cesar Romero.

ryann45 Speachless. Ive honestly thought this a lot recently, teetering between theatre and traditional and digital art. Plays, comics, paintings, etc. I've personally just always thought I was missing something, like I could add more, or my mediums were a bit limited to what I could do. On stage, you can't catch every small movement, change in the face, eye, brow or voice. It's these little details that a camera is best at picking up. -And along with music, cinematics, costume design, lighting, every other corner of the artistic realm, they can be carved, brought together and polished to create a finished masterpiece.

I agree that film is the most accurate field that displays the most forms of art, but you have to understand that all of the aspects of art expressed in film are just the tips of icebergs. I studied graphic design and I’m currently an architect in practice, and trust me when I say drawing, costume design, photography, etc, go wayyy further in their respective worlds.
