Dear Carl , can you make dot font "Nothing" brand name on the back panel glow like glyph lights. I want Nothing brand on the middle of the panel to glow every time i touch the screen and glow for 2 or 3 sec and off. (I want seperate custom settings to nothing name too).
Common Carl , just more LED's you need that's it.

I like that they sent you a review product even though you were hyper critical in the past, and that really shows the level of care they put into the product.

It's a fun community to be a part of. I used iPhone for years blindly and only really dabbled in android. Nothing phone 1 was the first time I took Android seriously. Then I bought ear stick and to be honest I haven't looked back. I came late to the game so didn't get ear 1. But I will be buying ear 2 for sure.
A somewhat weird idea: Can you compare it to the AirPods Pro 2…but using iPhones for both? I wanna see if Nothing Ear (2) still perform just as well using the AAC codec, does it still have better resolution and detail? If yes, this can even win over the iOS and AirPods users!
That is a really good damn question…. Actually their best codec only works with the nothing phone I heard 😢 no pixel, no samsung, 😅 only nothing
@@Josecunyat It works just fine with Samsung, you just have to have the Nothing X app.
It's cool that you have tuned these earphones.
However, other audiophiles have reviewed them as just 'OK' (not a 'gamechanger' though). They still can not measure up to the Samsung buds pro 2 (which are even cheaper) or the Sony 1000xm series within the wireless in ear segment.
Being involved should not corrupt your overall verdict.
As someone who's bought the Phone 2, I'm looking at what you're showing us - the improvements on the Ear 2 based on the Ear 1, and it concerns me slightly that there's no mention of any sort of firmware-based improvement to the Ear 1. The way it's been portrayed, it feels like people got ripped off buying Ear 1, but hey, no sweat, we improved the Ear 2 so much - but what about everyone who bought the Ear 1?
What happens to potential improvements on my Phone 2 once they launch Phone 3? 🤔
Damping yes. DMS knows how to speak English. The guys at Abyss keep saying dampening. Someone please tell them that too much moisture is not good for headphones.
Nothing Ear(2) vs OnePlus Buds Pro 2 would be good to see after you loved the OP Buds but now daily drive this.

So many reviewers critisize highs on these but I am glad I trusted your's opinion. The highs are amazing! However they suck with the personalized setting turned on.

I would have liked to still hear some aspects where Nothing could improve, since they seem to listen to you....I'm sure that the ear(3) could be even better in the future.
My phone doesn't support LHDC codec. How is the sound quality in the default codec(AAC) when compared to Airpods pro 2 in the default codec(AAC) as well? Which one is better?
You should have also added nothing Ear 1 to get visual improvements.

Hi DMS! Great review. I need your suggestion here.. I use an Android phone and this is the first time I'm planning to buy a sub $150 range earbuds. I'm confused between Soundcore Liberty 4, Nothing Ear 2 and Oneplus Buds Pro 2. Could you please suggest which one you would have opted for as per overall performance and best application support?
So excited for this. Literally was shocked to see Carl starting Nothing. Have all the products they've made till date and I'll say the ear[1] was the weakest but i'm glad this one seems to promising!!

Can you show in full review video an ANC graph with some other earbuds as a comparison? e.g. Apple pro 2. I don't know why for frequency response there was graph with both earbuds but not for ANC.
Picture are already leaked. Basically the same design as ear 1, which is a good thing. Should've included LDAC though.

Hi DMS! Wanted to say, what a great video. Just had one question though. How is playback on the Ear 2 with the Nothing phone when using developer settings to force 900/1000 kbps audio? I've seen a review and video from different sources stating that the audio is essentially unusable when set to those high bitrates. Thanks for reading.

....Any1 thinking you can get every feature of the sony xm5 for 1/4 the price and still get the really good sound of Soundcores Q35 Q45 deserves the crap that are the soundcore space one ....

I love it when companies listen to customers and enthusiasts with knowledge of the industry. It seems like a simple thing but so many companies think they know better. I wish 1More would listen to enthusiasts more than influencers. I love the hardware of the 1More Aero but the stock tuning (and all the tuning profiles) are garbage. I know they use a well known audio engineer but I have a hard time believing that way over boosted sub and mid bass, and recessed treble is what the majority of people want. I was able to get excellent sound using a custom profile in Wavelet but that also revealed the limitations of the SBC and AAC codecs in some songs. Thankfully the EQ profile can be stored in the earbuds so there is the chance of an update with better EQ (more bands) in the future. It seems like Nothing is off to a good start, actively fixing issues as they arrive and thus providing a great customer experience.

Pleeeeease make a review about the Nura Nuratru Pros!!! They are the best sounding buds on the market rn with Aptx Lossless.
I tried them but just couldn’t stand them. Tuning was just way too wacky.

i really wont mind if they stick with the same design. what matters is the improvements, they can recycle the unsold ear 1s and just improve it and sell at the same price.

I need opinion of Nothing Ear 2 vs Sony WF-1000XM4. Which sound quality is better?
This is basically Harman tuning. If it's executed well it's a slam dunk.
The target is less bass and treble than harman in-ear (which is a good thing as that target is being revisited).
So how good is ANC compared to airpods?

Good review. I'm not sure that I would like the fit and feel of them. They look very similar to the airpods and I was never able to get use to the ear feel the airpods.
