Over the years he plays with all the immense skill of the acoustic jazz session men who made astral weeks - indeed who were the musical directors of all that music, now Mr M has it all in his fingertips and as band LEADER can conduct it all - whilst singing and projecting to the audience….a class act - thanks be to God

Another piece of magic recorded so brilliantly by Bossaddict !! Thank you so much. I should have been at the gig but this recording is the next best thing. Thank God Van is playing the Lyric on 5/1/15. I have great seats for that!!! Really looking forward to it. Keep up the great work...any more songs from Dublin or Downpatrick shows which I did attend. Hey tnx for the kind words, I'm just lucky to have been there, saw 3 Van sown in the past 12 months ranging from the awful (Harp bar, New year's Eve) to the extraordinary (Olympia). In fact I'd say that over the many years that I've seen around 40 Van shows this Olympia show was up there with his very best; (didn't record anything else on vid, too busy enjoying the superb performance but I do have a few audio clips which I'll post at some stage; & I didn't make it to Downpatrick),

If there is a more beautiful song than this, I don't know what it is. Interestingly that he clearly sings "Madame Joy" in this version, which I believe was the original intent.
