So....the last 4 years have been some journey for me.... Leukemia. My soulmate , my love , my squeeze , my friend.....left me high and dry. Decided she'd had enough of caring for me. I've been in the lowest of lowest places imaginable. Shaken hands with cancer, stood at the edge with no hope , something just something somewhere held my hand. Van Morrison has always been my " go to" in times of trouble. My healing has begun....my leukemia is under control, have someone new in my life....NEVER give up folks....Van Morrison has been my healer. I can easily drift into another world listening to this...pure genius.
Never heard a more soulful song and probably never will and yes I have ever single song Van has produced. He is simply the greatest musical genius our times a true musicians musician a master of masters and I am so great full to have discovered Van so many years ago.

I met a beautiful woman that is my whole world. She is the wind in my sails and the North Star that I navigate back to safe harbor with. I was in a mental storm for 4 years after a really F...ed up divorce and the death of my son. I now see the shoreline coming into view. I am blessed beyond words. She is gorgeous and smart. Brains, beauty, and grace. I melt at her touch. I wake to her thought and go to sleep to her thought. Gratitude is not a strong enough word or emotion. I might be the luckiest and most fortunate man in the world.

I miss the Gardens and my schools days ended at Convocation Hall. Throw in Massey Hall (and dozens of other venues,most long gone) and now I'm missing the Toronto of my youth. Cheers.
Forgot the year, but Van played 4 venue's that year. I was lucky enough to see him at the one in Memphis. With a smile on my face at Riverside And Beale on the banks of the Mississippi. Perfect 🥰 . A few yrs later, I stood in the rain for 2 hours watching Bob Dylan Play, right before Time Out of Mind came out. I cannot tell which one I was most happy at. I just thank God I live in Memphis at a time To see these two great men and their music...I have seen alot of great Music and the old school blues guys, but these made my heart Sing.. ❤ 💙 💜 💖 Much love

Put door back on garden shed so I can now put lawnmower etc back in there n lock it. Everything dumped in snooker room til that got sorted. Fixed light switch living room, checked other fittings, put heavy base n umbrella on patio, etc. Gave her a sofa n a magnolia tree. I love magnolia trees. Rita across the road has an impressive one. My mum used to have the best garden in town but it’s crap since she went away. Nothing compares to her. That pic here by the way her maybe Ashford Castle on honeymoon. Costs an arm n a leg these days. Probably owned by some Americans. There are a lot of photos there of her as well as Limerick, Galway, Kerry…

It's part nostalgia and part missing the power they had...because their songs were of peace. and I find myself, many years later, playing them over and over, or singing them wherever I am. I saw the movie and wanted to find out if it was really Judy Dench in this film. That's how I listened to this wonderful song after watching Belfast. It really moved me to tears. That's what Van can do to you: the feeling is so genuine that you get swept along with it.
