Great video, but l wouldn't go near tokyo treat, my wife ordered 2 boxes over lock down the first took near 4 .months to arrive. Understandable due to lock down. But the second disappeared. Tokyo treat were no help, took the money and just kept saying they couldn't do anything u till the package that was blatantly lost in transit, had been returned. Started deleting my wife's comments chasing the package off their website as well. Looking around online we weren't the only ones having this problem.
@@maugatar I had a similar issue with them a couple of years ago concerning a box that never arrived. They asked me to wait longer in case it was delayed, which I was happy to do. But when it never arrived and I asked for a replacement or refund, they told me there was nothing they could do about it. I immediately canceled my subscription and refuse to use them any more. Other than that problem, the snacks were great, but you might be better with a different subscription company.
This thumbnail had me so excited ! For a second I thought Chris was hosting Lolsy Byrne from the Irish Try channel !! The surrounding food completed my illusion and expectations ! Emma has a totally new style now, I didn't realise it was her at all ! A little disappointed ☹️ lol

I feel like the missing journey across Japan episode needs a rework Chris and Emma back on a bike for one afternoon revisiting the same area and interspersed with original footage of Chris being useless...more useless 🤣
Obviously in their limited circle, the Westerners are reduced to doing videos with drunken hook-ups one of them misread, and now they overlook that because of TH-cam views. This is how marriages happen in reality.

Love this. Had the Sakuraco one to cheer myself up after my Japan trip was cancelled for a second time and really loved it. Nice snacks beautifully presented and loved the booklet that came with it. The Tokyo Snack one never really looked my style but loved the look of the snacks in your box so will probably give this a go soon!
Be warned that Tokyotreat has become somewhat of a scam. They originally had some decent quality to them when they first started. They rapidly started putting in less and snacks of really low quality though.
You know, as much as I genuinely enjoy this channel for each member combination video series and one-off they do but Chris and Emma have some good chemistry on camera. The banter is 10/10.
Sakuraco reminds me of what I get in my Bokksu - I love reading where things are from/about the snacks. The Tokyo Treat one makes me think of things I'd snag at my local Asian market for my fave snacks
I gave half a years worth of the these both out last year. everyone loved them! The Sakurako ones were so much nicer and better for older or more refined tastes but the Treat ones were great for teens, kids and anyone who just loves junk food. Highly recommend.

So many Box subscriptions to choose from, and usually they are all similar but not the same, since there are also other countries like Korean Snack Boxes! if I would make a list about "Japanese" ones it would be: 1. Japan Crate (I have a sweet tooth and this one has rly nice sweets and giveaways! its a FUN box) 2. Bokksu (more adult flavours which kids wouldn't like, also included alcoholic treats) 3. Tokyo Treat (same as Japan Crate but less fun) and any other type of Box that includes different type of Snacks and higher amount (ex: only ramen box, other country treats, etc.) which there are even on Amazon Snack Boxes that have double or even triple amount of Snacks for the same price but usually not in stock since it's popular, or if you go on to the side of that brand, it doesn't ship to your Country..
ME AND MY FRIEND EACH ORDERED ONE OF THESE (He got the Sakurako) AND MET UP WITH HIM TO TRY THEM OUT AND WHILE WE WERE EATING THEM WE LOOKED AT TH-cam AND YOU DID A VIDEO (my Tokyo Treats was the fall fruity box, I think this is next months box. But the sakurako seems to be this months)
Thanks for the tip for saving my purchasing power in the face of inflation ! Starting tomorrow, I will stop buying tea. Instead I will sink yesterday's socks into my teapot, since the flavor is just as nice according to Emma ! 😀
this video reminds me i still have the sakura ramune to finish off from the march Tokyo Treat box. finished off the sakura kitkat back in august (i was having a mood on my birthday and ate them all in one sitting) debating whether to try another Tokyo Treat box, or check out Sakuraco or Bokksu. can't afford monthly subscription, but i could splurge for a one time box :D
