Well, what would you be doing in Chris' situation? You are in a foreign country and not as integrated as having a girlfriend or even wife after nearly 10 years of being there would be, while having a foreign girlfriend would also not really integrate you and you also once even said you might not want to stay there forever, so if you have no Japanese girl, who wants to travel with you or a foreign girl, who also does not want to stay in Japan forever or does not even live there, there is just not much reason to have one! Lol

Well for me it's no wonder that Sharla won. Emma treated the challenge as a joke. Aki was motivated and pretty darn creative, but went a bit overboard with the ingredients. Sharla killed it by using her knowledge about Chris to her fullest and created something that was made with love (for a good friend). The bunny-packaging could've been for the cuteness or a litte poke at his excursion to bunnyrabbit island. But basically she went into full on "what would I do if I'd do this for my boyfriend".

Aki's chocolate was next level, it looked so great! I'm a bit sad that she didn't win after all that, but Sharla's concept was pretty amazing and she was thoughtful to take Chris' actual preferences into account. What a sweetie she is :) I actually want to try making some of those chocolate-covered oranges now!

The size of Emma's mould suggests that it's intended to make *hollow* chocolates (pour in melted chocolate and swirl the mould around until the entire inside surface is covered in chocolate, let it harden, remove from mould, then pour melted chocolate on a flat little plate covered in baking paper and put your shell on top of it, creating a "sealed lid"), rather than the solid block Emma made. That also would have saved her a lot of chocolate and Chris' dentist the extra work LOL.
