I don't use FPC anymore since I have my MPC one I just use the MPC vst plus you can just hold drag and drop with having to sync the pads. The upgrade cost but mpc beat VST is free
FPC is long overdue for an overhaul. It’s always been useful. But esp at this time when so many FL users are jumping on modern MPCs (or vice versa), I think IL would be smart to revamp this tool. More banks, enable an option for pads to be routed to mixer and step sequencer automatically (add a sequencer TO fpc even), and just incorporate a lot of the features already in FL into FPC so you don’t have to leave the plugin as often. Imagine if they combined it with Slicex. Plus an updated look.
@5:24 don't know if you know, but there's a button that you need to turn on the button to the left of the ATT knob to use the ADSR. Me Learning how to use Line Editors in FL unlocked soo many hidden features
a few minor updates to FPC would put MPC outta business.. I think that's why they haven't catered to it in awhile. -apply settings for all pads -stretch mode for audio samples -pitch increment markers for easier pitch manipulation by semitone increments -being able to audition the sample while laying down the drums (there are work arounds to this currently)
I like the MPC because it has a sort of beatbox workflow . I came from FL but when I got my MPC I understood how timberland and the Neptunes could come up with those style of beats that were different.
exactly you tend to cook within the confines of the medium you're using. with the MPC its very singular in some aspects but being that its archaic now it has the nostalgia that is long since forgotten or rather underused in todays world
They need that ‘TAP TO SLICE’,PLAY THROUGH(playing past chop end and start points), The Slicer and slice x needs a overall update. They keep giving us new synths when it’s like they just concentrate on EDM and Trap producers which is cool but sample based producer’s us FL too.
@@theycallmeheat you gotta grab it rather you have MPC beats MPC one or live. They have MpC beats vst or the upgrade MPC 2 vSt I use both with my MPC one standalone with FL studio as a midi controller the work flow is nice. I'd say try it you never know 🤷🏿♂️
Hello . You know what's so annoying about fpc in fl studio, how there's no easy way to use it if you want to tap the beat out in real time using the mouse , and clicking the pads . Why they did that idk , do you know of a workaround . Peace. Don.
whats good don? my workaround is to just not use it. lol, or you can change the omni midi setting to 1 and then you will have all of your sounds across your keyboard. only problem is you have to turn it off after you lay down a drum pattern. hope this helps my friend.

Absolutely. the FPC is missing so much, and has much potential.
tbf you can just open another instance of FPC and boom you got more banks.
@@Gainsforlife Sure. But of course that’s not quite as convenient for several reasons
Revamp FPC AND slicex/slice
Yep FPC should have 8 banks

Ahhh, I missed that. I don’t use FPC much, but that’s good. That should help someone. Lol 💯💯

if they make the FPC like the drum rack in ableton, FL would break the market
Naw, Fl ain’t touching a MPC because they are different animals
Fuego! 🔥🔥 Been using the FPC with my MPD24 and works wonders!
Nicee!!!
Factttt
I like the MPC because it has a sort of beatbox workflow . I came from FL but when I got my MPC I understood how timberland and the Neptunes could come up with those style of beats that were different.
word up!! never heard it explained like that. I can def understand.

I used to make beats using an AKAI MPC60 with memory expansion and a S950.
So cool...
Dope!! The golden era right there
Bless you bro really appreciate it!!!!

I need to do this. I like the mpc sound more than just making a beat straight in Fl studio
cool i didn't know that 2nd thing 👍👍 thx Heat!!!
Word up!! Thanks for watching 💯
Is there another way using layer options? if you dont have a midi ? I use laptop keyboard
Thank you.
Glad to help!!

enabling typing keyboard and use your qwerty keys as drum pads. Clicking would defeat the purpose you may as well use the drum rack for that
nice! in FL how do you record just what you play? does it record me what it sounds too???
when you record, you're just recording the sounds you have in the FPC as midi.
@@theycallmeheat Okay. but how do you go in time to the drum loop, without recording the drum loop, while the drum loop plays??? 🙃
once you have recorded your drums you can just play it on the playlist area. double click into he pattern and manipulate as liked @@martinicampari
you can also enable overdub so you can continue to recorded new notes while your original midi notes play @@martinicampari
Nice
This just changed my entire life, thank you I will now be making money off my beats
dope!! glad to hear, thanks for tuning in fam. 💯💯
you owe him a cut now 5% per beat

😂😂😂😂
No! Don’t quantize! Lol
Lol. In certain cases it’s needed but majority of the time it’s not used.
