To get a silky sound what about approaching it as you would do a transparent mix. Which would be to use as many EQ´s or Compressor as needed. In the end you use a lot more plugins on the track ( which you can just bounce to a new track) and your sound is alot clearer & warmer plus by dividing the gain reduction your plugins work load is lighter.
Silky's for almond milk I want crunchy as in roll,, but I will settle for chunky peanut butter cause it's a bit of both smooth with some chunky edge, it works🤓
