Hi. Is this a cup 380? Or is this a Komotec tuned 350 taken up to 380? Also read someone's comment saying it's 450 bhp. I'm just wondering what mods if any. I've got a V6 Roadster. Just had full system 2bular, soon to be induction kit and remap. Trying to gauge. Cheers man
So the Exige 380 bettered the gt3 rs by some margin. Proves it can go head to head with cars costing twice as much or more as long as it's not Nurburgring or some other ultra high-speed circuit.
I know its not the point, but why do the Exige 350's do average at a track such as the Nurburgring? From what I've seen, do the narrow tyres effect cornering speeds or do the lack of hp mean slow top speeds? Great video's love watching them. Just wanted an opinion from an owner.
The ring is a speed circuit, too many long straights and high speed curves, the lotus excels at shorter circuits where handling trumps power and speed.
I did not know they had these. :) Which organisation? I hate having to let of with my stage 2 elise R. There was a EX 430 Exige and he had to do the same thing! Those supercharged V6's sound crazy though! Just like yours.
The Exige is not faster, the driver is. Cleaner lines and takes more speed out the corners. With equal drivers, the Exige will take a slight advantage in corner speed, but won’t win on a full lap.
Porches have much more powers but lotus can beat any road but in pista lotus is better because is have better stability lightless lowers and if put same power 600hp or 700 lotus kill instantly.

Just look at nurburgring time lap.
In this video the lotus driver was just better but overall gt3 is faster

Yeah. No chance at high speed circuits but really competitive at mid speed corners

The problem on my car is espacially that the tyres have had already 5 trackdays and so optimal grip is far away :D
With its short gear ratios the Lotus will suffer a bit on any circuit where there is a long straight like the Ring.

The Lotus could easily destroy the GT3 .. The Harrop Lotus Revs to 9000 RPM 💪💪💪

Terrible circuit with all the slow down bits. Not a P car fan at all but the GT3 did have a slight edge in acceleration.
