Namikaze Sjjn, even though I like blaziken, I did the same type/evolution mix as the existing Pokémon trainer as to not be biased in other regions. For example, even though I like empolion, I would still do piplup, tutwig’s second evolution (I forget the name), and infernape.

Honestly, I believe the Werehog should’ve won with his different combos he could do, and his long range attacks with his stretched out arms.
I really don’t think he could be capable with any combos. He should be another Simon and considered a heavy. I really don’t think he can be capable of combos otherwise he would be overpowered.

Honestly, Sonic’s moveset has a lot of missed potential. Would’ve been cool if he could use things like the Wisps or Excalibur as single moves, to mix it up from only spin dashes.

Here are my thoughts:
-The Werehog can be his own fighter, since he has so many attacks
-Sanic, Teacher Sonic (which I call Edutainment Sonic) and Paramount Sonic could all work as fighters. Sanic could use various Sonic memes, Edutainment Sonic could use math questions and Paramount Sonic has shown to have some interesting powers (slow down time and electricity)
-I feel like the Sonics of the DiC shows could be merged into one, maybe Toon Sonic or Jaleel White Sonic
-And I don't see Car Sonic as being a fighter

I came up with a new Sonic move set because right now we only have punch, kick, and ball so here it is
Jab: same as it is right now
Tilts: same
Grabs: same
Smash attacks (where I changed some things)
F-Smash: he uses his Sword from Sonic and the Black Knights (the rest of his smash attacks will also use this)
D-Smash: he kneels down on one knee and stabs forward and backwards with it
U-Smash: it’s the same up smash but he holds his sword while he does it. This gives him more range and more damage
Special Attacks
Now for these I wanted to keep one spindash since it is his most iconic move so I went with:
Side Special: same as before
Neutral Special: I feel he should use a Wisp as a homing attack. I feel it would have no charge up and little starting lag and it would move very fast but it would deal less damage. I feel that it would be able to combo into itself as well
Down Special: now I can see this going 2 ways either he transforms into the werehog or he switches out with Tails and then Knuckles which would work like Pokémon Trainer. This would require 1 or 2 more new move sets depending on which I would choose but I can’t really decide. I would think of one that wouldn’t require a new move set but I just couldn’t think of one. Let me know of some ideas for a Down B for Sonic.
Up Special: I feel the same up special would work just fine.

his stretch arm ability could work like joker so he can do a mean combo by bringing the opponent to him or use as a recovery to latch onto the ledge

I feel that this was a hard pick but if Sakurai wouldn’t completely change Sonic’s whole move set I think the where wolf sonic from sonic unleashed would be a way better final smash than the one we have now in smash ultimate

SA2 Sonic could have something like Pac-Man's line of dots, but a line of rings and Light-Speed Dash that works like Falco's phantasm, Bounce Bracelet down special, down tilt to be fire ring, and magic hands grab. Up special spring still, and neutral special the same as well.

@@classictailsgaming3832 Sheik doesn't use light Arrows at any point, yet it still was her final Smash. Plus there are countless made up Final Smashes. Hyper Sonic would work just as Super Sonic but at least be visually a bit different
