I love how he casually catches her and she continues her random speech while almost upside down over his shoulder being carried up several flights of stairs after being yelled at by a very strange little man.
It saddens me so much, to watch this knowing that they're both gone...I would have loved seeing a sequel to this movie...Now it's impossible. May God Bless Their Souls.
It's actually not all that difficult to portray a drunk. If you consciously shift your focus of visual attention from moment to moment while you're moving forward and keep most of your muscles very relaxed, you'll find that your body begins to move in much the same way that it does when you've had too much to drink. Alcohol is a biochemical depressant which means that drinking it dulls your senses, lowers your defenses and inhibitions, reduces your ability to focus, relaxes your muscles, and slows your response time.
Paul is so fluffy. At the time the actor might have been criticized as playing a man too soft. Is that the reason why the actor decided to play tougher roles later on? He would make tons of great romantic movies if he continues with this type of character
Is anyone know of Audrey Hepburn another movie with a young actor who around her age or just a few older than her? Because as I watched many of her movie only this movie that she pair up with the actor who has a year older than her. Beside that I don’t know why I feel like they could be her dad lol except for Roman Holiday
🤣 what I find interesting to think about is when this movie came out in 1961 my dad was born 3 yrs before hand and my mom was a new born yet here I am in 2020 wathing this clip.
What am I supposed to do. “Curl up like a little furry kitten at your feet? It takes Paul 4 seconds to get to the door, & Holly is giving him 2 seconds. Tough beans buddy?” Holly is in a bad mood! 🙀 Ooof! 🌪
Some women always think they can change the bad boy. When he doesn’t change they get mad and dump him. When he does they complain he’s “boring” and dump him.
@@nicolettemasci7090 Both Audrey Hepburn ( 1929-1993) and George Peppard ( 1928-1994) died young, because of smoking and drinking. Audrey also died young because she only weighted never more than 48 kg ( and even 44 kg at times) and did eat red meat ( = dead animals) on a regular basis . I do have taste....for a healthy life style ;)
@@benarmstrong6904 Yeah right.Lead your unconscious life. Your burger once was a cow with her own character that had a miserable life and is slaughtered at an early age.....instead of being cheered up in a meadow with flowers.... where cows belong. Your conscience is in your stomach.
prrr you shouldn’t shame ppl for what they choose to eat. It would take a hell of lot ppl to stop the slaughtering of animals for food, so it’s useless to point the finger at Audrey for eating like any other human being. Secondly, ppl never realized that smoking caused cancer back then, so it’s not her fault. It was considered normal. Besides, she had to do it for her roles and we all know how addictive nicotine is. Audrey wasn’t a saint, but she was damn near close to one. This movie and her countless others prove just how talented and dedicated she was to her profession. Maybe you should go watch some jersey shore or keeping up with the kardashians is golden films like this aren’t your cup of tea.
Paul has the patience of a Saint.

"You should be used to taking money from ladies by now. " Stung him bad right there. He looks really hurt too. Great acting.
Lots of brutal honesty in this movie if you pay enough attention . . .
YManCyberDude brutal honesty? Has been a minute since I've seen that.
were you talking about Hitchcock's silhouette?
"so my darling Fred I have tonight made a VERY serious decision no longer will I play the field " makes me laugh, she was such a great actress.
Bulbous nose.
so think this is me do u get life who ever put this on just other person watch this movie
Greatest actress of all time.
Holly is so cute when she's drunk.
And poor Paul, bless his soul.
Incredible acting from Audrey

His smile!!!!!! After 1:06!!!!! *dies*
big mood 😔💅
I think he's trying not to laugh so he smiled instead but was caught on camera. Still handsome tho
"both economically and socially" lmfao
Haaaa Audrey we need you now more than ever. Like you said what the world needs is a return to sweetness and decency
My favorite film 🫶
This scene is funny but I seriously wonder if Audrey herself was actually drunk doing this scene. She did a good job playing a drunk.
If she was truly drunk, she would not have remembered the lines I'm sure.
@@Isabelle-Cassels yeah that's true

I recommend “Two for the Road” starred Audrey Hepburn and Albert Finney. They both had the best chemistry while playing each character.
4:00 DAMNNNNN
Does anyone know what brand the bag Audrey gets the money out of is? I love it so much, the design looks beautiful 😍
For any girl and handsome young man who lived in nyc in her 20s everything here is true
Yeah...pretty much (and it actually doesn't change all that much as time goes on, to be honest).
What's the song at the end? It's really pretty, I'd love to hear the rest of it. :)
It's in the amazon link above

Yes, I know. Even the director apologized for it. He said it was a huge mistake.

“True but irrelevant.”?
Cause she said: “True but irrevilant.”

A kiss in the pouring rain …ignoring all around you…ultimately romantic…..
True but still it stings

Bones in the bed 😂😂😂
I want Gal Gadot being in a scene like this 😘
