Thank you so much Alexandra for taking us on this tour. Lots of new construction and all west architecture coming up in Paraguay. Seems like lots of tourists are opting more and more traveling in Paraguay. What are the gas prices there? We have $2.05 here in Canada West coast, Vancouver area. Lots of rain here. How are you and Paul both doing ? 🙏 💙
Hello Monika! Thank you for commenting! There‘s an interesting mix of old and new houses in Asuncion. It might be smart to invest in some property now, in the city or country side. As you said, lots of people are coming to Paraguay and will be interested in buying. And thanks for asking, we’re just getting ready for another long trip. Gas prices today are USD 1.40 per liter btw. Greetings to Canada and all the best to you. ❤️
Hola, esazona siempre fué de las más caras de Asuncion, zona residencial, mucho tiempo los vecinos pelearon para evitar las construcciones de altura, saludos.
There’s a lot of new construction, a lot of nice homes, more like villas. There’s also a lot of wrought iron fences and homes that look abandoned. The optimist sees opportunity, the pessimist a warning.
yes I see lots of opportunities! and so many places would be for sale but they don’t advertise yet. it’s always great to ask around and find a good price before they put it up online. Thanks for watching!
¡Gracias Martín como siempre por tus comentarios! Me interesó un terreno y me comuniqué con la agencia (el chat se muestra en el video). desafortunadamente demasiado caro 🙉😁 te gustó una casa?
I lived there in the late 80s. It was and to a good extent is a beautiful area. Yet it hurts to see some ugly buildings in former residential places. Memories will stay.
Wow I’d love to see Asunción from back then! My friend‘s family moved to Asunción in 1984 and the mom told me that people told them they were stupid to buy a hotel in this area (because so far from the center). When now today the center is pretty bad, and Villa Mora is lively and beautiful!
@AlexandraAllover Villa Morra and Las Carmelitas even more, where always the best residential areas. And in the 80s until the early-mid 90s, you could just walk in the night through the streets securely.
Esse bairro está igual o setor Marista em Goiânia Goiás . Vendendo as casas pra levantar prédio.
Asunción, Paraguay 🇵🇾 The city looks very quiet and relaxed place to live. Realestate opportunities so many!! I’m considering getting residency in Paraguay or Chile? 🇨🇱 Chile has it all, but Paraguay is better for people on a smaller pension.
Interesting, Chile! What are the requirements there to get a permanent residency? Paraguay is very tranquillo. Asuncion is quite different from the rest of the country, very developed and western. But you pay for it too! On the country side you‘ll find cheaper real estate but also in a different style. I‘d be interested in Chile! Feel free to write me on FB or IG to chat more! Cheers!
@@AlexandraAllover I’m on a $1,630 USD pension per month. Alexandra I need this to cover all my expenses including Rent. I’m a simple guy, do you think this will be enough for me to live in Paraguay or Asunción every month?.
I‘m sure you can make it work. People make it work with a lot less, especially if you don‘t live in the capital city. You can find multiple TH-cam videos by immigrants in paraguay who talk about how much they spend. Let me know if you need anything else!
@@christopherhouse7937 I just saw this today. 1 yr later. but with that much income you can have a beautiful life here. Monthly salary here is about $380.00 x month x family . U surpass that amount. But also so many people immigrating to Paraguay these days and desperately looking for real estate or property. So locals take a chance and put up a sign, maybe someone will buy their house for a good price ;)
