I’m not sure if you can find one, but get a 1990 Honda cbr250rr mc22. Thing revs out like crazy which was Hondas response to beat the 2 strokes. As well as being more reliable 🙃
Not really an answer to the 2 strokes (they were quite a bit slower than the 2 stroke 250s), but yes a 19000rpm red line. I have one in the garage I bought last year but I still need to recommision it.
Bro, don't sell it if you love it. You won't find another one in twenty years, when you really miss it. If it's the best of its breed, keep it in the stable.

It was too many times during the video. I want to support you and don't disagree with you running sponsorships, but every time you brought up a selling point it took me out of the video so at the end what I feel I watched was an infomercial. You'll find your balance. We all want to watch you succeed

Enjoyed the video, but the ad was definitely heavy-handed. The constant emphasis on the quad lock was quite jarring and made the overall point feel almost fake.
Personally, hearing someone push a product repeatedly and obnoxiously makes me want to buy it less. I have no problems with sponsorships in general as it helps bring you more money for more content, just not like this.
In the future, I think having a dedicated portion for the ad with a progress bar like other TH-camrs would be a good way to compromise.
Anyways other than that, I enjoyed the video and am curious as to what bike you'll pick up next.

I'd keep it but that's coming from an RS owner. It looks in good condition so will gain in value and look good in office. Although there's other bikes. I'd suggest Aprilia SX/RX/MX. It's the same engine but a supermoto so being a supermoto and 2 stroke. It's would be good content. I do own one though. Good on UK country roads like RS etc.

Get 2 stroke supermoto! They are so much more fun than 2 stroke street bikes or even 4 stroke supermotos
You should look for an sv1000. They were only made from 03 to 07 so it's another niche bike, but the torque of a 1000cc v-twin is something else
Any possibilities for you to acquire a kawasaki ninja 150 rr? Its a 2 stroke bike popular in SEA regularly used for drag races and can produce 40+ hp when modified.
Have you had a vfr before? Would be great. But ut should me a 98-01. 5th gen = best gen

Depends on how much you use it if you need it to get from home to work it’s not a great idea if you only use it for the sunday ride it’s good

Nah they arent that bad. Have done 10k kilometers on mine and it really broke down twice. They do however need alot of maintance. A snapped throttle cable or clutch cable can happen on any bike. Not just these
@@2strokerides And they're quite easy to avoid with simple preventive maintenance, It never happened with mine with more than 10k in a very rainy area.
It had other problems, though, and was my least reliable bike, but I was a far worse mechanic than I'm now :P
Also beware if you run too lean the engine risks overheating and seizing ;)

The cycle of content never stops, so I'd sell it and use that to fund a new motorcycle, maybe go radical and get something you'd never usually consider, some of the best bikes in the world or under a veil of stereotypes like the big 1000cc varadero or firestorm (superhawk)
You know what? You could try Underbone 150cc bike. Its small, not fast, but pretty fun to ride on. The aftermarket parts is easy to find too. Its also not bad for daily usage, especially with the newer ones being so reliable, you can mod the crap out of it and even use 300cc bore up with stock block, though its not really a good idea unless you upgrade the transmission.
But its fun! Mine is bored to 180cc from 135cc, not much, but still fun! Until I have to sell it because I needed money for my college

I don't mind sponsored videos, and i like your channel so go take the money i will just skip the ad and everyone is happy but the flow of the video is kinda weird due to the sponsor, i much prefer when the channel take 60 or 90 sec straigt ouf the vid to talk about the product than what you did (+quad lock is a good product anyway so i don t think ppl are gonna be mad)

Hi chaos, Could we please get a full unedited ride of the RS125 before you let it's broken italian glory go? it can absolutely be an unlisted video since you don't do that type of content, just want to see how yours performs at WOT... from riding yours, have you noticed a slight dip in acceleration after the exhaust valve opens? Mine falls on it's face at 9,5k rpm struggling to go past that.
You're exhaust is probably restricted. Had that on mine too

What rpm is your power valve opening at? Should be ~7800 rpm. If the valve is opening late (either because it is sticking, or someone has done something with the control unit) then a bit of a flat spot immediately after tge valve opens is possible.
But 9500is way after it should have opened. Check the valve is in the right way up (note, one of his earlier videos the valve housing was upside down!)

Try a stunt bike like a grom or a big bike like a 636
I have been riding since 11 years motocross, but never streetbikes because they never catched me like a mx bike. One time i rode a Ducati Monster 750 from 2003 and this catched me absolutely. About 4 month after that Ride i boght my own Monster 750. With the carburetor it geves you emotions while riding like no much other bikes. Maybe this is an idea for your next bike projekt.

in europe at 16 you cant ride 125 2stroke, only 4stroke :(
It'll be easy to sell in Italy, though I'm not sure about the documents. If you grew up with one of these, rode them on a racetrack, now how to optimise them, when you're in your 40s cornering with a 200kg sportsbike is not that fun anymore. With this it is, it's at least 70kg less and you just have to ease the bike into the corner, it's easier to lean out from one side to another, you don't need 150kph corners to feel the thrill, and when you go downhill on mountain passes and you've overtaken every single bike ahead of you, including R1 and other extreme superbikes, which you can (remember in moto3 on corners slower than 100kmh they speed they carry at the apex can be as much as 20% more than motoGP), you'll have much more satisfaction. And if you want to be safe, take it to a small racetrack and you won't be as tired and aching as you would be if you were riding a 200kg bike. And be old fashioned, learn the roads and keep your phone silent in your pocket! You want your eyes on the road at all times, if you get lost, just stop and check your phone.
Try something electric like Zero…i’d love to see and hear your opinion about the battery on wheels.

Hello, im a 16yo looking for a speedy 1st motorcycle, would say a 2stroke 125 is really unusable as daily? i dont mind the maintenance but id rather have it not fail on me..

It's sad to let it go but it's the smart move. I think about what I'm going to do with my current bike once I have a new one and right now I think about keeping it for the short trips and commute. Even though it's getting old and will probably give me headaches in the future, I don't think I'll get enough money for it, these bikes tend to lose value 'cause they're cheap as new.
Btw I felt that there was a little too much ads but it's a fresh way to sell it. I mean, most of the creators I follow just dedicate one or two minutes of the video to talk about it and I just skip it, but this way I kind of enjoyed it, it falls right on time. Reminds a little bit of Linus Tech Tips.

so you wanna spice up the buy-fix-talk-sell cycle a bit? just buy another old bike and don't just fix it up, maybe do a bit of restomoddig, there are enough cheap bikes with plenty 3rd party parts available. maybe go for an FJ1200, didn't have that much touring bikes so far :D
