- Of all the Data vids I've done, this one is probably the dearest to my heart, because it is so true of Data. He truly was a hero - he rescued his friends on many occasions, saved Timothy from the wreck of the Vico, and gave his own life to save everyone on the Enterprise. Furthermore, he's a hero because he showed all of us what it means to be human. He'll always be my hero. Enjoy!

Ugh that look between Data and Geordi in Nemesis gets me every time. They don't need to say anything to know how much they care for each other. That is what makes a great actor in my mind.

This vid is bittersweet. Any Data fan will say it sucks he died! However, this vid shows him alive after he died and that is great.

I thought so, too. But he commited the ultimate human act, by sacrificing himself, for his family. It makes ya love him more, doesn't it?

Oh. I saw the title of the video and I was expecting the audio to be _I'm Holding Out for a Hero_ by Bonnie Tyler. Still a good video, though.
@TrentMalloy That episode is "Hero Worship," Season 5. Spot was Data's pet cat, who appeared first in "Data's Day" and in several episodes thereafter (including the film "Generations," which is the clip in the vid).

he shouldent die!
Brent Spiner was one of the writers and it was his idea, the fact that he was getting older and felt he couldn't portray a character that is supposed to be ageless, he felt he couldn't play him convincingly by then. But he did come back, better than ever in Picard Season 3. And yes, I sobbed when he died in Nemesis, Data was always my favorite since the very first episode. Still is.

Yea i cried my frickin' eyes out at the end of Nemesis. :'( but in my world it didn't happen :) . Great video btw but i can't stand the song. Not a mariah fan.
