Star Trek was good for what they had to make it. But this CGI makes it GREAT. I'm now 50 yo and still love to watching the show. So good job and from the Caption of the USS Missouri's keep up the great work.

The what ifs with that original cast is always fun to think about it. If I can ever access a parallel universe I am bringing back their star trek tapes.
Actually, when it came time to shoot the second pilot the network wanted and offered the role to Jeffrey Hunter again.
However he had done a successful film by then, and his wife responded (rather condescendingly) that her husband, 'Was now a movie star and he didn't do television anymore'..
Ah the famous "the audience couldn't handle a female second-in-command" myth. See the excellent "Inside Star Trek: The Real Story" by Herb Solow and Robert Justman, which states the objection was to the actress (M. Leigh Hudac-cum-Majel Barrett) and not a female in charge.
😂! I was a teenager in the 60's. Today they call it misogyny, we called it SEXY. And sexy it was/is to me. Shatner's Captain Kirk is the sexiest thing on TV and has been for a long time!!!

charlesvan13 Baloney! I think that would have been brilliant to watch an alpha male on steroids work with an alpha female. Can't you just imagine the subplots and story lines. Man that would have been epic!
