Opening up my SNES on Christmas morning is one of the best memories of my childhood. I was blown away by SMW and it's still my favorite game to this day.
The Genesis version of Ghouls N Ghosts is the Arcade port of the game from what I’ve heard I’ve never seen the actual arcade in the wild so can’t confirm.
The repro boxes are awesome. I know a lot of purists will give you CRAP for have repro boxes. Frankly it's my collection so I don't care. Nice collection Reggie.
Im a semi purist. All my games are authentic except for Hagane (because im not paying that much for it) and Megaman and Bass. I have no issues wirh repro boxes. Getta get them any way you can!

A lot of nostalgia. I had a decent collection of SNES games over the years but my mom ended up giving it away along with all the games to my younger cousins while I was away at school. That day I was so mad and to this day, I'm still a bit mad; especially since a lot of those games I got for my birthday & Xmas. Back then that's the only time I would get games.
20 years ago I had my Mega drive and Mega CD (Aussie Genesis) and a decent and local with the rating sticker copy of Snatcher and I sold them for cash to go to a rave......I'm still kicking myself to this day
Also I agree with your philosophy of letting go of physical form games that you don’t have the time for anymore because it’s better to find a good home for something so awesome 👏

Glad you mentioned some cool games like Contra 3, Turtles in Time, The Firemen, and Final Fight 3. Some of my favorite games are Super Mario RPG, Chrono Trigger, Donkey Kong Country 2, Kirby Super Star (My favorite Kirby game), Turtles in Time, Magical Pop'n, Street Fighter 2: Turbo, Batman Returns and many others.

Yes yes yes ..love it when ppl still talk about the retro systems .. we all know the new consoles is out but we can't forget the classics....I got my snes during the era when link to the past just came out ..my older brother brought it from his girlfriend at the time ..the cool part about it ..she wanted to give it to me anyway but she wanted to at least make something off it and that was cool ..and I still have it to this day..good line up of games bro

I spent a lot of time playing Mickey Mouse Circus game, I was like 5 when this game came out so I rented it often. Had no idea what a RPG was, until Chrono Trigger!
When it comes to 16bit shooters the Genesis/Mega Drive nailed it with the exception of one game, that game is Macross Scrambled Valkyrie. It's up there with Gleylancer as far as shooters go
Great list i that i 47 so i got mine myself with my own money in 92 my 1st 5 games was super Mario world and street fighter 2 at the same time and 3 other i bought before got the system from closing sale of child world one of was rival turl ,so anyway to get the point i have many of those game on your list and love magical quests got 1&2 then gba games over past 4 years magical quest 3 the Japanese version it mine favorite one and i all the fighting games on it too including fatal fury series

You got a smaller SNES collection than I thought which is fine. I downsized my video games collection in the recent years. I still have some purge to do.
I really recommend the HDMI Super Nintendo from Retroad on Ali-Express. Well 2 actually. The Retroad SFC52HD and Retroad 5 Plus Handheld with the Retroad GB/GBC Extension Converter. It plays most Everdrives as well. The best compatibility is the Everdrive GB X7 for games like Mario Golf and Mario Tennis for gameboy color or Pokemon Crystal with Real Time Clock. Just remember to push to save.
All of the Retroad products work with each other with no extra wires in HD if you were to get the GB/GBC Extension Converter or Famicom Adapter or Mega Drive Adapter.
3 of my most rare and expensive SNES games are Dragon Quest V, Dragon Quest VI and Final Fantasy V put out by a small retro gaming company called Timewalk Games. Did this company have any connection to Nintendo? When did these games come out? The 3 games I mentioned were released in Japan for the Super Famicom but not in the U.S. In the 1990's as far as I know. These games were originally English translated ROMs playable on an SNES emulator on a computer. This Timewalk game company put out these English translations on SNES reproduction carts with reproduction SNES labels in boxes that look like original SNES boxes. Do you have any of these Timewalk games or any others this company produced? I have a LOT of my gaming friends searching for these Timewalk games but can't find them for sale on eBay or any retro gaming store. I wonder how many games this company released and if they were only English translated RPGs that never came out originally for the system.
I actually had a genesis and rocket knight adventures! It was amazing for sure. That robot fight was extremely difficult and if got that far and failed... So many amazing games in that time period!
For those who find Contra 3 too hard (like me) I recommend start whit Blazing Chrome for PC or current consoles, I actually got interested in Contra by first trying this game
As much as good as Contra 3 is, my hat goes to Contra Hard Corps as my favorite. That game is so insane, with a pretty dark cyberpunk storyline for its time

Tmnt tournament fighters was a great fighting game on snes.
Shredder was so incredible as a playable character in that game!

I let mine go years ago, then got a retron a few years ago , then bought a Super Nintendo 6 months ago from a retro shop.
