      @@porschecollector727 Where I live there is a $10,000 fine for doing 31 mph or 50 km/h over the speed limit. Your car is also impounded for a week. Needless to say speeders in the province of Ontario have slowed down. That fine is enforced throughout the province. 50 over in a 100 zone is not as bad as 50 over in a 40 km/h school zone. Been watching since Matt was making videos wearing cowboy hats. Last couple of years he was the MVP ever since Chris Harris / Jason Camisa stopped producing content regulary so it's sad to see him retire even if he's still making videos every now and then. There won't be any future getaway stockholm videos either and "car vlogs" cause brain cancer so I'm really disappointed with youtube lately.

      Poor loser's who can't afford it have hit its sales. Its doing better now. Losers all believe they should be able to afford it. I mean how is it too expensive? Like compare and contrast this to whats in the market. Its a first gen supercar from Acura that beat the GTR, R8, Huracan, and many other. The R8 V10 Plus has taken years to get to. Not everyone buys that. The GTR has had years of development as well. The Huracan 2wd gets its ass handed to it by the NSX yet starts at 199k. The AWD versions starts at 275k. It keeps up with the Aventador and 488 from a dig which are both 400k supercars.
      No this is back to badge snobbery. People bitch about the price when they can't afford a 40k car to begin with. For 157k which is the base price of the NSX with the carbon ceramic package, its a competitor and then some. The McLaren 570S is one of the only cars in this price point outperforming the NSX and again has had years of development with a starting price of 170+k.

      Ehhh more so the engine used and the timing of it's release, if it had come out 3-4 years earlier I think many of us would have given it a pass.
      If it had a high-revving NA V8 I think most of us would have fell in love with it even if it didn't lead the class in performance.
      @Carlo Tuor - I've seen one after a concert in my city it looks gorgeous blacked out, it hides a lot of the over-design elements especially in the back end.

You also mischaracterized the 911 - you can best on a 911 mercilessly and it will be just fine. They are bulletproof. There's 1000hp+ modified 911s out there with stock engine internals and just aftermarket PDK clutches to launch them deep into the 9s @ 155mph+ on street tires, at full weight. НАТО в шоке, США обосрались Despite my first instinct that you’re joking, I’m compelled to explain this anyway. A supercharger (like a turbocharger) is just another method of forced induction, or stuffing air into an engine at higher than atmospheric pressure so a more forceful explosion can occur when combined with more fuel. Obviously, this doesn’t apply to Teslas as they don’t use internal combustion engines.

      you gotta have your eyes well up ahead down the road, and if it's big enough to cause damage (or not be able to straddle) then you have enough tie to react and avoid. I have never hit a rock, but a friend of mine came out to hang in LA for a bit like 5 years ago and I let him drive my Corvette in the canyons and he hit a rock within, no shit, like 2 minutes. I told him to watch out for fallen rocks, and when he heard "fallen rocks" he thought they would be like, realtime falling on to the hood of the car. So when I said "ROCK!" he looked UP and not down at the road, and smashed my wheel on a big rock. Took FOREVER to get a flatbed out there.

    Hmm sounds like they tweaked the NSX intake sound for the 2019 model year, this one still isn't amazing but it sounds better.... at least
    based on youtube compression and 3 years of reviewers possible changing how they record audio.
    I've said it a few times in the past but I really think the NSX was just a sound-track away from acceptance of most of the community.

  • @MrCarGuy
    @MrCarGuy 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's nice but probably too artificial for you to really connect with it. The shield painted body color is also a better move. Next step is, in the least, giving the interior an update with new Acura tech.

    It's unfortunate the price of this car is so high. The sales for this car last year were insanely low which is not good for the future of nsx.....

    Is part of that noise fake maybe... From the speakers?

  • @Umutforeal
    @Umutforeal 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    There are still people trying to compare the NSX to a turbo s or Nissan gtr...Yes, the Porsche and the GTR are just a tiny bit quicker but remember this car has modern hybrid technology and it's one of the first cars to have a 9 Speed dual clutch auto...Does Porsche have a hybrid Sportscars? 👀 Yes, they do have the 918 costing more than a million...And trust me the NSX' road presence is one of a kind.
    It's not the 90's anymore..accept that.

    • @Password450
      @Password450 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol the hybrid system makes it slower. You could get faster cars for less money. The NSX just can't compete.

    • @craigmain248
      @craigmain248 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, but they do "enhance" the natural sound.
      "Fortunately, once you’re inside the NSX, it can roar, and Acura swears it’s without the aid of artificial sound piped through the speakers."

    • @Steve_9292
      @Steve_9292 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      He's still working full time, but he's focusing more on press cars and special vehicles, leaving Zach to pick up the mantle with One Takes.
      He wanted to be able to spend more time with a car to give a more thorough opinion and overview of it, rather than having just ten minutes to try and politely say what he thought with an owner sitting next to him trying not to be awkward on camera.

    Maybe it's the recording, but that car has no sound, no noise .
    The video is like watching a minivan ride slightly sped up and with a tiny hole in the exhaust .
