Great Video!! I thought I got a good deal ($50 off the $345 45L bag) but you've got me beat. Nice!! According to Pakt themselves, the capacity of the 45L when unexpanded is just 41L. once expanded it's closer to 53L. The 35L bag unexpanded is 32L and 42L expanded. But they also say that their measurements are conservative and you actually get several liters of extra space beyond the stated volume when expanded.
Thanks for the kind words! Appreciate the breakdown of capacity that is super helpful. Do you like the 45L bag? I wish I got the 35L bag. The 45L fits a ton just a tad too large for long weekend trips or under the seat on an airplane. Would love to hear the thoughts you have on the 45L Pakt?
@@JustBookedIt I have the 34L Pakt V1. I was looking for more capacity for longer trips. I also have other bags in the 30-35L range so the larger Pakt was just what I needed. I can compress it down when not loaded out, but it provides options when more is required. For small weekend trips I often just take my Tom Bihn Synik 30. It's too big for EDC or daily carry but works perfectly for multi-day trips.
I prefer a 35L pack because it will fit on every airline and it discourages me from packing too much. I’ve done 6 three week trips to Europe with a 35L bag. I just have to do laundry a few times during the trip.
David, so true! The 35L bags tend to be a great mix of size and storage. The 45L packt bag is just a little too big! Next time I will try the 35L version. As always thanks for being such an active member of our community! Appreciate you. 🙌
@@JustBookedIt I ran out of time and bought a North Face Router. It wasn't a good option. But as I am still at sea for the next 3 weeks, I guess I am stuck with it. I wish I had seen your review a week or two earlier. But such is life. 🙂 Thanks.
LOVE THIS! Thanks for the video man, keep up the great work. One question though, where can I pick up the passport holder, name, model, link if possible? Thanks again :)
Thanks so much for the kind words! Below is a link to our amazon store. We do get a small commission if you use the link. The passport holder should be under the "Travel Essentials" section. Let me know if you have any other questions. Happy traveling! www.amazon.com/shop/bookedittravel
Sorry about that! My two other light weight packable pants for travel are the Terrebonne Joggers from Patagonia. Super light weight, love wearing these on a plane. Or the Vuori joggers.
This is the BEST Review on This Bag!
Super kind of you! Thanks so much!

Game changer here. Thank you for this!
Sure thing! Paket is a great company!

What brand of your rain jacket? Where did you get it?
NEED this in the 35L
Yes! I totally agree.
Excellent review!!! Thanks!
Thanks for the kind words Patrick! Really appreciate it. What is your go to travel bag?

I recently purchased a 35-liter Pakt bag. Have you found the hidden pocket for an AirTag?
I have not! Love that they have one! Where is it?
If the 35 is like the 45L, it is in the organization pocket to right of the mesh pocket.
You named 2 different pants that you pack. One is the 686 but I can’t understand the other name?
Sorry about that! My two other light weight packable pants for travel are the Terrebonne Joggers from Patagonia. Super light weight, love wearing these on a plane. Or the Vuori joggers.
