+Thomas EXOVCDS hey EXO I have a issue I can't seem to pinpoint. my fuel gauge AND my temp gauge all of a sudden stopped working. any suggestions? 1984 1.9 vanagon
+Lathen X Bad voltage regulator on the back of the cluster / printed circuit or a bad connection at the harness plug for the printed circuit... that's my guess. Wiggle the harness plug and see if things come to life. Key on engine off... does the battery light & oil light come on?

I do have a question. Who should I buy mine from? Should I buy whole thing or rebuild kit?
+Lathen X Buy the whole unit... from wherever you can find / get one. Local parts stores would be best, so you can deal with someone in person.

What year is that van?
'83 to '91... sorry, didn't make a note of it at the time of the recording.
What kind of gloves do you use? I cannot find any that don't completely suck. Thanks-

where do I fill the clutch fluid at
Same place as the brake fluid... have a close look at the reservoir and you will see the hose that feeds the clutch master cylinder.
Did you find it?
this video makes me dizzy.
