This video was filmed in November 2022. Places shown in the video were not affected by the Turkey-Syria earthquake. I would like to express my deepest condolences for all the people who lost their lives in the earthquake and my sincere sympathies for all those who have been affected.
But still, Rory, not the time to release it, show it when the rubble is cleared, and they can look forward to their old life, but yeah not the time to release it as it can look like you're trying to capitalise on what happened with views on your video.
Situation in Turkey, is heartbreaking & my prayers to all Turkish people. Your videos are fantastic. You certainly put so much into making them. Thank you Lynne Victoria Australia🇦🇺🐨💙💙💙. 🙏🏻Turkey.
Hi Rory thank you for the video. The train was very good. What a good idea putting a mini fridge in the train. I hope you had a great trip. I would like also to express my condolences to all the people who have lost love ones. Will look forward Rory to your next video.
Rory I so enjoy your videos because you're so thorough in your information which is so interesting and I find it a pleasure to watch. Thanks so much. 😊🇦🇺
Thanks Rory for giving us such a good insight into what the overnight trains in Turkey are like. I guess once the high speed line is completed there will no longer be any need for a sleeper service. Such a tragic time for Turkey and Syria right now. Our sympathies and prayers are with the so many people affected by this disaster.
Hi Rory 👋, this is an amazing presentation but sobering when considering the çurrent earthquake situation and my prayers go out to all those impacted by the events. I am surprised to see a mini fridge on this train and I think it is something that could be added to our long-distance trains in Australia. The cabin looked quite comfortable and I am wondering if the windows could be opened to allow fresh air. I am very sure that the squat toilet would leave me literally in the shit if I tried such a manoeuvre. 🤣. What an adventure this was, and I definitely can't wait for your next journey into the unknown.
Another good one, Rory. I'd be interested in the accommodations used during your travels. The devastation that the earthquake has caused is unfathomable. 💔
Another great review, wish Queensland rail had sleeping carriages like Turke-ye. Keep up the good work looking forward to seeing your next great review. 👍 Paul
Wow this is quite an interesting video.i love it.the trains like this is very nice in Turkey.i can apreciate it's good comfort & anyone who can buy a good ticket to ride this train is very lucky to have a nice trip on this lovely train. It's totally amazing.
Hi Rory. Firstly I want to say, that like many ( if not all) of your followers, I wish to add my sympathy to the peoples of both Syria and Türkiye. Mother Nature can be very cruel at times 😥 But thankyou for showing a very beautiful Türkiye. I was very impressed at the spaciousness of the twin cabin in the sleeping carriage. I dunno about the squat toilet though, but I respect that in many parts of the world this is normal, and they think a Western style toilet is a bit strange. Yes , a shower would be a good addition to the train, but in the scheme of things, more toilets are probably more useful.
I always enjoy your travel videos. It feels like you are sitting next to me, kindly explaining where I am on my trip and what would be best to do next. Of course, I can't verify it, but your confidence and skill at pronouncing words in Turkish is impressive! As I'm sure you know, the experience is better if you learn at least some of the language of the place you are staying. It really makes a difference with the local people you encounter. Lol, the only time that didn't work for me was in Hong Kong, but I'm sure I was butchering Cantonese trying to order food. I still tried!

Hello I am a new subscriber from Brazil I really enjoyed your reviews very detailed with a lot of useful information in the future maybe you could also provide subtitles in Portuguese
Thank you for this video. I love watching travel vids. One thing I must say however, the letter 'h' is pronounced 'aitch' and not 'haitch'. It is the only letter in the English alphabet that is featured in the dictionary as a whole word and it comes under A and not H. Please forgive me if I might sound rude about this but I am trained as an ESOL teacher (English for Speakers of Other Languages) so I always like to make corrections where necesary. Thanks again for the travel info!
“The crescent represents development, and the five-pointed star symbol represents guidance. Together, they symbolize the Turkish people's aspiration to strive for progress and enlightenment.” 🇹🇷 I think it’s a brilliant way to show their flags
Rory this is most inappropriate with the great sadness currently in Turley and Syria would it not be more appropriate to have uploaded this video in 12 months. Even then the sadness and destruction will be everywhere.

Still Rory. Bad timing to release this one…
@@timinman9578 why? I mean Rory is showing how beautiful the country is he isn't doing this to bad mouth anyone.
Well said Rory

I am glad you did not experience the castrosophy there.
Deepest sympathy to all impacted by the most recent earthquake. Sounds like a nice trip. My goodness that will be a fast train!
Wonderful video! Thank you sooooo much! It helps a lot to organise our future holiday in august. Thanks 🙂

Another excellent rail travel video by Rory, very informative and interesting !! The next best thing to experiencing it personally.

Another good one, Rory. I'd be interested in the accommodations used during your travels.
The devastation that the earthquake has caused is unfathomable. 💔
Wow great review mate and what an epic journey!. Turkey is an amazing country so sad about the massive earthquake of recent though :(
Thanks for the video mate. Hope you are holding up okay.

Considering there’s only 20 people in the sleeping car I reckon one toilet would suffice 😂
Lucky Rory, you are not in the affected areas. It's going to take a rather long time for Turkey & Syria to recover from the catastrophes.

Fascinating, I didn’t know they used squat toilets in turkey
This was a very interesting video. Also I have heard what happened in Turkey, It is very sad to see.

Oh...I just read your pinned comments about visiting in Nov
Nice video, you should consider going on the SteamRanger heritage railway in South Australia, its very good.
17:46 great video as usual. Will you do a video of the high speed train?
Hello I am a new subscriber from Brazil I really enjoyed your reviews very detailed with a lot of useful information in the future maybe you could also provide subtitles in Portuguese
Thank you 😊
The translations are automatically done by google but I’ll add Portuguese in the future to
I have never seen a mini fridge in a train before
Complete and informative vlog. What are the best attractions in Izmir?
Now Rory is flying internationally, and he loves his trains 🚂 why don’t Rory review to us viewers, travelling 🧳 L.A. To Seattle? On the Amtrak?

Hi thank you for your comment
Australians normally pronounce “h” “haitch” so I just copied the accent 😅😊
Only 4 cups of tea a day? They've got nothing on us Brits. I drink about 6 or 7 a day on average.
very nice and modern but that crescent moon with the star in all the windows is very annoying.
“The crescent represents development, and the five-pointed star symbol represents guidance. Together, they symbolize the Turkish people's aspiration to strive for progress and enlightenment.”

impact of earthquake on it>??
See above.

Bit awkward and insensitive posting this after what happened ...
